Bowen's Wharf is a beautiful marina and harbour area on the waterfront in Newport, known for its lovely views and great restaurants. It is a really nice and cute area that wraps everything about Newport into a nutshell, featuring shops, restaurants, the water, and people. It is a favorite spot for many, offering a beautiful shopping area with adorable shops to check out. The ambiance is calm and relaxing, especially on a weekday. It is a busy spot with good reason, where visitors can watch many boats come in and out, as it is a major yachting center. Lots of boat tours operate from here, making them easy to pick up. The area is generally on the expensive side, but that is what one would expect given the pricey seaside town. The shops are mainly boutiques. Parking is notoriously difficult in Newport. There is a small public parking lot right in the center, some street parking for limited hours, and a lot of paid parking in smaller car parks. Visitors need to either get there early in mid-season or go out of season. The wharf is filled with pubs, restaurants, and shopping along its cobblestone streets. Its beauty and charm make it a place you definitely need to stroll when in Newport, perfect for anyone on foot who loves any kind of shopping.
