“This is perhaps one of the few remaining place of worship in a very devout city that enjoys the holy sacramento or Eucharist and Lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth s ultimate sacrifice for all mankind”

“I got married at St. Joseph's and I cannot recommend them enough. My fiance and I live out of state and received our sacraments in different states as well which made a lot of things very complicated. None of this was the fault of the parish ,however, Lynn worked with us from start to finish to ensure we got everything together on our special day. They also did a FANTASTIC job during our rehearsal. We had a large wedding party, some of whom are not catholic and had to learn everything as a beginner. I know we weren't the easiest of newlyweds because of all of this so I hope Lynn knows how grateful we are for her and her hard work. And of course on our wedding day, the church is STUNNING. Incredibly picturesque and our photographer even said it is his favorite church to photograph in Newport. And of course, the mass itself. St Joseph values traditional catholic wedding masses and does not cut it short. We hired our own priest but made sure to follow the traditional rules of the Diocese.Thank you Lynn and St. Josephs. God bless you all.”

“This is my childhood church. I grew up on the ‘rich’ side of this ward and always found love, peace and solace in this church. I’m rejoining the community and cannot put love in terms!”

“An excellent bible-believing church with an emphasis on discipleship, prayer, and serving one another. (FYI, people show up at service exactly as it starts, not early, but they are coming. Dress is varied, some people are is suits and some in jeans and a blouse)”

“Touro Synagogue, the oldest synagogue in the United States, is a living testament to both history and continuity. Its storied past is beautifully curated, and the presence of an ancient Torah scroll on display adds a profound layer to the experience. Remarkably, this historical landmark remains a vibrant center of worship, hosting active services that connect the past with the present. Touro's enduring legacy, coupled with its commitment to spiritual vitality, makes it an exceptional destination deserving of a resolute five-star rating.”

“⛪Beautiful Architecture, Rich History, Welcoming Staff⛪The oldest Parrish in the Diocese of Providence, St. Mary's was designated a National Historic Shrine on November 24, 1968. It is known among other things as the marriage place of JFK.If you love touring cathedrals and churches, St. Mary's is a must-see. The interior is gorgeous, and I've tried to capture the splendor with my camera. Of course, nothing compares to seeing it in person! The staff onsite are friendly, informative, and welcoming. They answered my questions and provided a place for me to leave my beverage while I went inside. I'd highly recommend the experience to everyone.”

“Truly a great place. Would happily volunteer here again. The few people that do work here are so thoughtful and go above and beyond to help the community in anyway they can. Newport is definitely lucky to have this place.”
