What a pleasant quaint gallery to visit. The owner, Shari Weschler, was engaging in her conversation with my children who are budding artists, well...one of them anyway! LOL... but we had a very informative conversation about the artwork and facility. Excellent place to visit if you're ever on that "strip."*Side-note* That area itself is very BUSY!!! It's like a car and bike show! Lots of Harleys, lots of people walking, lots of muscle cars and antique muscle cars too...Definitely was NOT expecting to see all of that!!! LOLThanks Shari!!! :-)

CCG has a caught my eye since early 2019. Many of artists that are featured here have a spiritual depth to their work, while some are the cutting edge of rebellion and brilliant punctuations to our fractured and busy lives. This is not uncommon to find in so many museums, but rare to find in this unsung heroic gallery tucked into the busy Rhode Island town of Newport. The work here is what I crave in seeking artistic talent and the owner who is also a remarkable artist self-representing her work here has a daft eye and skill for curation of modern and meaningful art. Her work, under the name "Sumobunni" is destined for collectors walls. Go see for yourself! Or if you're like me and don't live nearby, checkout their rich content for your own inspiration.
