Booked an updo months in advance from 1-2 on a Saturday for a friends wedding. My services did not start until 1:30, and I was left waiting and wondering what was going on until that point (no checking in). When my service started, I only received what felt like a perfunctory apology. I was then rushed through my service so I still was out by 2. So I paid for a 60 minute service and received only a 30 minute service with no explanation or discount. The updo I received was fine, but not the level I expect from this type of service, presumably due to the shortened timeframe. I followed up with management explaining how I felt unhappy and have received no response. I would not book here again.

If i could leave a 20 star review, I WOULD. Jill literally saved my hair. I'm not exaggerating. When I first went to see Jill, my hair was falling out, fried, and all-together dead. Before seeing her, I tried every hair product across the board, expenses be damned. After my first appointment, she set me up with the Malibu hair-care line and showed me that my water was the real problem. I went from having an easily $500+ hair care routine that left my hair looking and feeling drab, thin, and motionless. Fast forward literally one month, I have a $120.00 hair care routine and its never felt healthier or happier. With my wedding fast approaching, I feel like Jill saved my life and wedding photos. Because of her, I can go into that day feeling and looking my best. Aside from her knowledge, she's so patient, kind, and compassionate. I admire her commitment to the community of Newport and would recommend her to anyone who needs a fresh hair start.
The first picture with the plant in the background is me now, one month out from my wedding. The second picture is how I showed up on Jill's door step 8 months ago with my best attempt at styling it that I could attempt.

Ariel did my hair and makeup for my wedding and was such a pro. I didn't have time to book a trial, but she knew exactly what I wanted and made sure my hair was bulletproof for a windy day. Hair and makeup were beautiful and classy. Would highly recommend her!

If you are looking for someone who knows how to cut/color natural curly hair, Nay is amazing! I had the best consultation with her and she made my hair look the best it has in years! She’s also super sweet and made me feel welcome and comfortable in her chair.

Curl up and Dye is a class act. The team is stellar and the place is Gorgeous! My favorite part is knowing that the owners are dedicated to the community and are ALWAYS Generous to help people in need. I love this place e so much. Jill is my favorite but the entire team is incredible. My children also love to come here!
