First off, the customer service is delightful. I wish I got the name of the fabulous worker who gave me great advice on exploring Newport! & The fudge is soo yummy, I got the 6 for $22, to get several flavors to bring home. I only tried one so far, the oreo one and omg it’s so good and so creamy! Will definitely come back next time I’m in town :)

Cute small local business, excellent quality and taste. The owner and operator is lovely and very helpful. Be kind and remember this is someone's lively hood so enough with the irrelevant nasty reviews.

I go to Newport once a year but hadn't had a chance to stop in here until this week! I truly have missed out- It is a wonderful little shop run by the sweetest woman! They had a great selection and the fudge was delicious. Can't wait to be back again next time!

Great little fudge spot in Newport! The person working there was super kind and took the time to give us some great local tips for the area.

I saw that there were three places that made fudge on the main drag. I chose this one and also Kiliwins (a couple of blocks away). When we got back to the hotel we taste tested between the two places. At Kiliwins we got penuche, milk chocolate, and double dark chocolate. At Newport fudgery we got penuche and milk chocolate. Kiliwins was, by far, better on the side by side tastings and the double dark chocolate was the best of all three types. Kiliwins was the most creamy and had the best flavor. Newport wasn't bad but, when compared to the other, did not have as much flavor but was very sweet. I think the price point was better at Kiliwins too (buy two big pieces get one free). Now I am completely "sweeted out" and will have to wait a bit before having more.

I was in Newport for a cruise stop and purchased some fudge. The fellow in the shop had said it would be stable for about 4 weeks - plenty of time for me to get home 2 weeks later.I just arrived home and one of them has mould growing on it.I’ve regularly gotten fudge on trips from other locations and haven’t had an issue before.I made sure to keep it out of the sun, and it was on my carry-on for the flight home.I hadn’t checked them the last few days as they seemed alright before, and so I’d packed my bag ahead of time. The other 2, I purchased seem to be ok, but it was rather disappointing to open my bags and pull out presents for people, and find mould growing on one of the packages. So while the other packages might be ok visually, I’m a little worried about eating them or giving them away now.

The shop is quaint and has many fudge selections. We tried the salted caramel, triple chocolate & chocolate peanut butter. They were very creamy. The staff was friendly and helpful.

A must stop when in Newport. I like that you can mix and match. I do miss the good old days when they actually would cut it in front of you and offer a taste-test. Bring that back and Ill bring back a star.

Artificial ingredients and colors in everything. The store was well put together but I don't know how the service was because I left pretty quickly.

I've been to a lot of fudge stores up and down the East Coast and Newport Fudgery has to be the best of them all. Their fudge is chewy, the texture is smooth, and it melts on your tongue. I'm not a huge fan of taffy but I'm always craving theirs. The people behind the counter are very helpful and friendly. If you're ever in Newport and looking for something sweet I cannot recommend this shop highly enough.

A completely horrible experience and the worst customer service I'm that area. We visited this store on Thames st, looking for a fudge for GF and the lady in the other side of the counter was extremely rude, being sarcastic about our intentions to buy a product or not.About the fudge, was good but providing this kind of service will shoo you away. So don't bother going there.

Delicious treats. Not too expensive.
