Highly recommend this place. Needed replacement glass for thermal insert window, which arrived exactly when they said and was installed immediately. As a plus, they helped me figure out how to replace latches on the thermals throughout my house and referred me to a place to buy them. Above and beyond!

Don't waste your time contacting this company. I called for a quote on a beveled or polished edged mirror and spoke with Tony. I didn't hear back for a week so I called again and he said he would call soon with a quote. Each time I spoke with Tony, he rushed me off the phone and after 2 more calls and a month later, I gave up. Never heard back.

Needed replacement glass for a thermal insert. They promised 2 weeks for the glass and it came right on time. They installed in a couple hours. As a plus, they told me where to buy and how to install latches for my thermal inserts, many of which are broken. This was altogether a very positive experience and I highly recommend Newport Glass.

Called for a quote on a shower door. They came two weeks later to measure and said I would have a quote the following week. I called two weeks later to follow up on the quote and left a message for them to call me back. I did not here back. I left messages over the next two weeks but never hear back. I lost a month trying to get an estimate from them. If they did not want the job I would have preferred that they told me up front so I could look elsewhere. I ended up going to Somerset Glass and they responded quickly and I am very happy with their work. Save yourself time an effort and go else where for you project.

Newport Glass replaced the back window of our 2017 Forester. The work was top quality and the service was fantastic. It was done quickly with minimum hassle -- which was greatly appreciated given that we were traveling from out of town and needed to have repair done within one day. Also, the owner -- Ken -- was very friendly and pleasant in addition to being responsive to our need for a prompt repair. We rate as five star performance.

I had Newport Glass put in custom sliding glass doors in my master bathroom and I can't belive how wonderful it is. They were very receptive to all my anxiety about the project and were very professional and courteous. And when I discovered a slight leak they immediately addressed the issue. Very impressive, would recommend most highly!

Ordered shower glass and still haven't received it. It was supposed to take 2 weeks.Latest: You promised my contractor 10-14 days for the shower glass. We are now 21 plus days and nothing.

Brought two wood panels for mirrors replacement. Owner told me a week and half to get them back. Three weeks later I called and a lady answered the phone "No, not done yet". At this point I still did not even got a quote! Asked about when they should be ready. Answer: "I don't know... we got a lot of work to do". Pushing for answer I asked for the owner to call me back. Same lady called me back the day after. "Maybe end of next week, or you can take your mirrors back". Thank you, that's exactly what I did. Went to Providence Glass & Mirror on a Friday. Met with Winston, got an exact estimate on the spot and was told, might be ready this afternoon. Told him, no rush I can come on Monday. Got a call Monday morning, job ready. Went, job was done perfectly, paid the balance... Happy customer! Well worth the extra miles! If Newport Glass treat their employees the way treat their customers... probably the reason they're understaffed.

I feel like the business model needs to change because they are really understaffed. You could call and wait months for a call back and to get your project done--no matter how small. I've done projects with them that should take a few hours but takes weeks and when it's done they don't even call to tell you it's done. They leave you hanging in complete darkness. They don't have enough staff to answer the phone consistently. The receptionsit they hire is sweet and pretty but she is clearly only there to be the a pleasant person to speak with and maybe eye candy for the contractors. The receptionist they hire typically doesn't know what's happening for any particular project and is always passing the buck to someone else. They seem to lack a computer system. They seem to lack space to store stuff (probably because they never inform the customer their stuff is done so their only free space is cluttered with glass). I don't know. I like to see small businesses thrive but it seems they just don't want to pay people to work and the owners are pocketing so much without investing in the company in ways to help it grow

Ken's team did a great job making installing the glass for two of our kitchen cabinet doors, one of which had a mullion with some bowing. When I got it back everything was nice, straight and looks great
