It is dog-friendly, requiring dogs to be on a leash, though visitors should note that free doggie bag stations can sometimes be empty. The park is located off Bellevue Avenue and is typically not crowded. However, visitors must be aware of significant parking restrictions. Parking is limited and not allowed between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m., which coincides with the park's closing time. This has led to tickets for some, so it is recommended to visit on a bike or by walking. The area also serves as a parking access point for Rejects Beach and Ledge Road, but spots are limited and going early is advised. There are no toilets or dedicated picnic tables, though there are benches and space for a blanket.
