Prices are nearly double for items I buy on aquidneck island.. I’ve never been here before but it is the St. Patrick’s day parade and wouldn’t be surprised if they are price gauging.

A bottle of Laphroaig 10 Yr cost $110 in Thames Wine and Spirits as of July 2024. The same bottle costs $52.99 in the Total Wine in South Bay, MA and is $60-$70 everywhere else I’ve seen it- including in Hawaii.

So I recently purchased a vape that was a defect brought it back got another one and that one was also a defect. I wanted to try a new brand but they said no, and I wasn’t able to get a refund back. Now I’m stuck with a vape that doesn’t work.

Selection not bad...prices absolutely rediculas double to triple the value of a bottle..I walked out because of this and whomever was working there just stayed on his phone why we were there..wanted $70 for a $30 bottle of Woodford..not happening..

Sales associates have no clue what’s in the store or where it’s at.Know what you want and be ready to look for it yourself.I asked if they had cider. Was told no. The 1st case I looked at had multiple brands. When I asked about his answer, the rep said he thought I wanted an apple cider whisky. I never mentioned whisky.Also asked about a specific wine & he couldn’t find it.I’ll shop elsewhere. Thanks.

Awful experience. I waited until the attendant was finished with his cigarette and he slammed the door in my face. Absolutely unacceptable. Overpriced as well. Go to vickers or island or the one by the bridge off-ramp.

Decent selection for a smaller sized store. Clerk was friendly but when I paid with a credit card I got a prompt for a gratuity and the default is 20%!!! Are you kidding me? This expectation for tipping has gotten way out of hand but a liquor store was a first for me.
