My husband and I purchased a stove. The stove kicked out my power and almost caught on fire. I was told to get an electrician out because there was a problem and it could not be the stove. The electrician came out and said the stove was the issue. Then a person from Wickford came out and said the electrician was correct, the problem is the burner was knocked out of place and the wire fused to the stove. I have had a repairman out for my stove five times since it’s been delivered. I did not get the extended warranty because my stove was not in working condition before the time period ran out to get an extended warranty. Currently, I have a gauge on the stove and it is not level from all the repairs and it’s been months of contacting Wickford off and on and no one can be bothered to respond back for lost time and electrician that was not needed. I have not even gotten an Apology for the inconvenience. The whole reason I went to Wickford was because I figured if I needed a repair it would be convenient that they are local, so I would have a personalized experience. Currently, I am in need of other large appliances, probably have to default to buying something online.

the guys that show up are usually excellent, scheduling is a nightmare! I used another service provider for my wolf range and the process was seamless and incredibly different.

Needed a service call on Maytag washer purchased from Wickford. Contacted service by email (very easy) and they responded with a phone call promptly. Service tech Charlie showed up (we had him previously when fridge needed servicing). Very professional, congenial, and caring about our property. Diagnosed as a bad pump and provided a quote on the spot. Surprised by the price (had expected more) and the surprise was he had the part on the truck (we had provided the error codes from the washer so someone at Wickford had the foresight to anticipate the possible problem and sent a pump along). Washer is back to its old self. Thank you Charlie and Wickford.

Really wanted to do business with your Co. Your price was great and working with Hayley was even better. But, there’s always a ‘but’. Your best special order delivery was end of Feb. ‘24!!! Both Lowe’s and Best Buy promised mid Dec. ‘23 delivery and install. Lowe’s price was higher. B/B price was the same as yours without my asking. Your store and Hayley will be my first stop next time I need a major appliance.
