Love this bank, I’ve had bad experiences with my old banks. Citizens and Td Bank. I remember when this was Pawtucket Credit Union. Credit unions are better than just a standard bank. No fees,24 hour atm access etc. Meredith is really welcoming

Been doing business here for years. Went in to renew CDs.
Asked to come into the little area. Never welcomed, rep really didn't care to help or be there. At one time she was so miserable we asked if we were bothering her with our transactions.
This is the first time, and if we are treated like this again we will close all our accounts and go where we are welcomed.
Plenty of people looking for work.
Find the ones that want to work and know how to treat clients with respect and that they are glad to help your clients.
So many other banks have opened in this area, you can't have this disrespect and expect to continue to grow.

Came in to take advantage of an employee referral program for checking and savings accounts. Meredith, the assistant manager, was assigned to work with me. She was disorganized and rude, stopping the process multiple times to handle other member’s banking concerns right in front of me. I understand managers get busy but I don’t want to know people’s names, see their driver’s licenses, and hear about the $374,000 they’re “just moving around.” I offered to step away from her office during these instances but she said I should stay. Aside from this major red flag, she said she knew my ethnicity because I was referred by an employee who “only knows” people of our ethnicity. She then went on to ask about this employee’s personal life in great detail. When I tried to get information on banking and investment products, she told me to check online. As a consumer I’m looking for value and knowledge when I opt to work with a credit union. That is not what I got at this location. I ended up going to the main branch to close my accounts the next morning to avoid dealing with Meredith again. I wish I had gone there in the first place because they were superb. I only hope the North Providence location gets better leadership, uphold the privacy of their members and stand behind their products in the future.

You need to have a 720 credit score in order to apply for a loan. In this high-priced world, who has a credit score that high? some may do but they have the money to pay their debts. We are in danger of having our house forclosed upon and they don't care.

I went in today and before I could even sit down this girl sitting at her desk said can I help you with a beautiful smile. I sat down she helped me open a few accounts and after that she helped me with putting all the accounts on my phone. Very professional and helpful I'm so glad I went to coastal 1 branch in North Providence. I hope her manager reads this because she deserves to be recognized her name is Briana H I'm not sure if I can use her last name on here but it's not that often I write a review but really thought I needed to after all she did for me
