“I’ve lived in the area over 20 years. And although the postal workers have changed over the years they have always remained as some of the kindest in all of the city. This continues to remain my favorite station and has a small town/neighborhood feel to it.”

I didn’t get her name but we were there at 12:30 on Friday 10/20/23. I just wanted to recognize how helpful she was. I’ve worked with the public for over 25 years and I know it’s nice to get praise once in a while instead of complaints.”
“I come to this branch either everyday or every other day, frequent customer here. I don't interact much with the staff as I'm dropping off packages but if I have a question I get in line. Line goes quick if there's more than one person working the desk. I'd have to say, this place does need extra help. There is usually only one person behind the counter and they seem pretty miserable when left alone. I mean I would be pretty miserable if I was the only one at the counter with a mound of drop offs I have to scan. They do good work though, props.”

“This is a seriously tiny post office location. I have been in my share of small, one person, post offices: this one is one of the smallest. There are a couple of parking spots on the left side of the building for patrons and plenty of on street parking available. Post boxes are located on the sidewalk directly in front for 'walk up' mail drops; no driving up to these boxes, they are on the passenger side of your vehicle. The entrance is a short ramp from the sidewalk. Just inside to the left are P.O. Boxes and ahead is a small counter area. There is a lot going on in this small space. There are no more than several dozen post office boxes I would say in total in a small nook. Didn't actually count them. The counter space it self is mainly clear with a scale on the right and the computer system further on, out of reach. There is a plexiglass in front of that section keeping you off the the side during your transaction. The one person working was in back when I arrived. These smaller locations employ literally one person who is responsible for receiving mail, sorting, 'putting the mail up' into the PO boxes, providing customer service and all the attendant business related paperwork. I just waited patiently for about 45 seconds until they came out to see if I required assistance. Masks are required to be worn by customers during this time, and the person assisting me was wearing a mask. Hand sanitizer is on the counter. I had some cards that needed weighing in case they were overweight; they were. I also needed more stamps as my last round of card sending depleted my stock. There is a lot of card and post card sending happening over here lately. Staying in touch with friends and family during this time of often feeling isolated is a nice surprise. I know I appreciate it when I get a surprise card in the mail. The items I requested (two specific types of stamps) were procured, cards weighed, stamped and given over to be added to outgoing mail were all accomplished quickly and professionally. This location is not exactly 'on my way' generally speaking, but I would not hesitate to stop by here at any time when I am in need of more postal supplies.”
“I have a question I'm not even sure if you can answer it I had ordered some items to which they said it was delivered but I never got it or signed for it the driver told them he left it at the post office what can I do to see if it's thee I don't have a tracking number I just have a message saying if I didn't get my packages to check with the post office.”

“I think the Postal Service industry as a whole is in a shambles... People don't respect the Pen now that everything's a click away and it's truly a shame...You couldn't pay me to put mail into the 5 mailboxes in RI.
That being said, I've lived at the same address for 8 years and the N Prov/Johnston customer service In Person, is a customer service nightmare. Don't bother asking or waiting for the Postmaster to call...He didn't but I did have to drive to Johnston to pick up my mail ~ Maybe she just enjoyed seeing my face??
I have recently begun coming to the North Station on Smith St. There's a customer service agent here who is not only great at but seems to actually like her job... Amazing!! And I fell in love with the "Tree of the Month", It's Christmas collides with the 4th of July ❤️”
“They have standard post office service, but honestly I don't expect the USPS to rush ship packages and all seeing they get about a billion dollars in debt a year. Technically speaking the guy who gave someone tape can get in a lot of trouble so it would be best if you got over $4... Or just prepared your package ahead of time.”
