“This store is absolute gold and so is the owners heart. You can tell this is driven by passion and not greed. John is a straight shooter, a great source of info and a fair person to work with. Two out of two times that I went there to sell and I left a happy man. Pokémon cards, sports cards, memorabilia, vintage video games and much more. He also won’t give you grief about grading your stuff before you get there which was a huge plus for me. I could go on forever but I hope you get to experience it for yourself. “Many vintage and retro items from a lot of different vendors. Large building with roomy aisles to roam. The owner, Mr Rossi is very knowledgeable and will share his wealth of information if asked.”
“Really dislike how they staple the prices right on the front of the shirts, and it leaves holes. Why not staple on the tag or back of shirt? Common sense that nobody is going to want holes on their clothing from staples.”

“Great selection of gifts and home goods! They have an especially notable selection of great cookbooks. On my last visit here, I picked up a copy of "Melted Cheese" containing recipes for my most beloved food. Service was very quick and friendly! Some of the items seem a bit overpriced, but other items are reasonable. In the past, I have purchased some small dishes for entertaining in cool finishes such as a bright gold to use for appetizers. Great place to stop in where you're in downtown Providence.”
“For buyers: They have high quality antiques at reasonable prices. Staff is friendly and are helpful packaging fragile items. On the sticker price, look for automatic discounted items based on how long item has been there. .
For sellers: I was in the greenhouse area today during a storm. It was dry and no leaks! They are in a great location with plenty of parking.
Overall the place is clean and not full of junk. Wheel chair accessible.”
“This place is amazing! Has beautiful antiques and furniture. I use a rollator and mobility aids and antique stores are usually very crowded, for me, they were barely crowded, and were able to move things that were in my way!”

I love going here and many of my home furnishings come from here. His service is impressive. He also does estate sales that are always fun to go to and have beautiful items.”

“I’d never heard of this store until my 14 year old came home with a pair of $225 sneakers that she had no business buying. I immediately went back to the store with her and explained the situation (and her mental state which lead to this unreasonable purchase). The gentlemen in the store asked made me aware of the no return policy but due to the situation surrounding this purchase (no need to go into detail) they allowed the return. All of the store associates were very nice and understanding. I’d support them again.”

Organized in a nice fashion with a few front displays as well as an eye-pleasing main display! Workers are super friendly and the owners work very hard to distinguish their store from other Plato’s, and it’s very apparent! 10/10 location!”

“I went into Blackbirds because I heard they have top quality clothing so I went in there to get a gift certificate for my wife and the experience there was wonderful the owner was very nice and friendly I was amazed at the store how nice clean and organized it was , My wife shops there frequently so I thought it would be a great idea and it definitely was.”
