“Came in for the first time today with my boy and had a great experience! Staff were VERY friendly and welcoming. I was put in a room immediately instead of sitting with other people and cats to stress him out. The tech even gave him a Churu and sat on the floor with him. I would definitely rather pay a little extra to know he’ll be well taken care of and treated with love here. Love that it’s a cat-only vet, and I will definitely return and recommend!”

The Vet listened carefully to my concerns about Chaz’s paw licking and the distress he was under with his constant licking which made all 4 paws almost raw… she explained his allergy, gave him medication and he is back to his happy self!! I was not rushed out at all, all my questions were answered and the Vet truly wanted to help him! We found a new home!! The pricing was very reasonable as well! “A Loving Practice
I recently brought home a new puppy and needed to find a Vet. I walked in one day to get a sense of the practice and was greeted warmly by Christine, the receptionist. She explained they were a women-owned clinic and had excellent, caring physicians. I trusted my gut and made my little guy's first appointment.
We were treated by Michaela and Dr. Murphy, who were both wonderful! So loving, gentle, informed, and conscientious throughout our whole visit.
There's a LOT of information around caring for a new puppy, who also had an ear infection. I was very concerned about recalling all of the instructions! To my surprise and delight, they sent me an aftercare summary that contained the full recap and detailed instructions - what an awesome deliverable! My own doctors don't take this much time and care with my human health!

Staff saved my dog’s life and gave her the best care with amazing amounts of care and compassion.
They explained everything to me so that I was able to make difficult decisions with confidence. My dog was in the very best hands (and hearts).
Their pricing was by far the most affordable without compromising quality of care. In fact, they provided far better care than any other (much more expensive) vet I have previously used.

“The Vets at Ocean State Equine have been up to my boarding facility in Freetown, Massachusetts to see my horse, Duke, 2 times. The Vets and their Vet Techs really know horses and they work quickly and efficiently. They are really nice people.They are also gentle and patient with Duke. All they do is horses and ponies, so you know your horse is going to get the best care.”

She is extremely compassionate and knowledgeable and has helped us with allergies, mobility and behavioral issues to name a few. Her and her wonderful team are more like family and my dogs are very comfortable with everyone there. “Bringing our 10-year-old German Shepherd to the vet is definitely not for the faint of heart! Rocky is such a sweet boy, but he certainly lets you know when he has something to say. 😂
The folks at Scituate Animal Hospital have been absolutely incredible. Dr. Marandola and Hannah were fabulous with Rocky today. As a senior dog, he has some issues that require a little extra care, and they treated him with so much kindness, patience, and expertise.
Rocky needed extra help getting his blood drawn, and everyone was so gentle and compassionate, doing everything they could to make him as comfortable as possible. Their kindness meant a lot.

“First of all the VCA animal hospital I visited was on Atwood Ave in Cranston and not EP. Cranston location squeezed me in their schedule.
Efficient staff at the desk. Once in exam room with a vet assistant I was asked questions about my newly adopted kitten's health. All questions were welcomed and answered with knowledgeable info. The doctor gave a complete check up to include complimentary nail cutting.
My cat, Prince Ali, 5 months old was only living with me for a few days so I didn't know if he would be resisting the exam. He trusted the doctor and vet. assistant and enjoyed the petting from both women.
The doctor showed me how to apply heartworm treatment and how often he should receive it. And where to get the product. They offer it on site.
When it was time to leave the assistant requested that I wait a few minutes in the exam room until the lobby was clear of dogs. We had a wonderful, professional and thorough experience at the VCA on Atwood Ave. in Cranston.
Highly recommended.”

“Had such a great experience with VCA Atwood animal hospital. I have never written a yelp review before but created an account just for this. My dog suffers from seizures and they can be triggered when he is stressed but it is unpredictable when they will happen. I had an appointment scheduled today for an issue with his paw, however two minutes after I walked into the office my dogs seizures were triggered. Immediately the vet and tech were in the waiting room with me, picking up my dog and carrying him back for treatment. They continued to keep a staff member with him for the next two or so hours. They set up a blanket in a room so I could be with my dog but still had someone in there watching over him just incase another seizure occurred. I am so thankful the care my dog received tonight.”
“We adopted our dog during COVID. A dog that was supposed to be euthanized because her slave labor of breeding was done. I immediately brought her to his office and was met with nothing but kindness. He helped me navigate her anxiety and worry. My dog is gone now. I'll forever be grate”
