I used Scituate Family Dental for years and was always very happy with the service I received but unfortunately, their negligence has cost me thousands and thousands of dollars years later. For several years they would always call me to remind me that I was due for a cleaning, and I would always oblige and go in for my appointments. These appointments were always followed up by Dr. Capalbo telling me that I needed a crown even though I didn't have pain in all the teeth he said I needed crowns for.5 crowns, a move to a different state, and 3 years later, my crowns are falling out, causing me to have to go in and have my teeth extracted, titanium implants put into my jaw, and new crowns set on top of them.At the time I received the crowns, Dr. Capalbo told me that they were permanent and better than a root canal. I've had 2 of the teeth pulled already, and my orthodontist thinks they will all need to come out based on how poorly they were sealed. My new ortho explained that the crowns I received by Dr. Capalbo were made from an extremely strong material, but because of how strong they are, they are not very porous. Because of this, the adhesive doesn't hold well, and he typically sees 6 or 7 years from these crowns.By the time mine fell out, the teeth underneath had been so damaged from not being properly sealed, that there was nothing left to glue them back to. My new ortho also told me that he would never use the material that Dr. Capalbo used for my crowns and would never inform someone that a crown is permanent.I tried reaching out to Dr. Capalbo's office and they immediately responded to deny that they ever told me crowns were permanent, and they blamed me and said that I caused them to fall out myself.I believe that Scituate Family Dental tells people they need crowns when they don't so that they can bill insurance companies. I recall my insurance company rejecting claim after claim, and Scituate Family Dental pushing back on the claims until they got approval even though I did not have pain. They also did the exact same thing to my spouse, saying that multiple crowns were needed. Fortunately those crowns were rejected, and 6 years later the crowns are still not needed. My question to anyone reading this review is this: Would you accept the recommendation of a crown if you knew that it would only last 6 years, and then need to have your teeth pulled out and a titanium implant put into your jar? Doubtful. They lied to me to get me, and I went and had 5 of my teeth permanently destroyed because of it.Now I am retaining legal counsel and will fight it all the way if that's what I have to do. Do not get crowns from these crooks!

Had a wonderful experience here. Hadn't been to the dentist in 10+ years. Aaron was a great tech. The ladies in the front were wonderful as well. The dentist was friendly and had a lot of great advice. This office is now my primary care for all my dental needs.

My son had an amazing experience today for his cleaning. He suffers from anxiety when he goes to the dentist. We were referred here and I’m so glad we were. He actually walked out smiling :)

My first visit to this dental practice. Everyone from the front desk, to Aaron the hygienist, to the doctor were so friendly and welcoming. I felt that Aaron was thorough and professional.

This was my first time at Scituate Family dental. The staff at the front desk were so friendly, helpful, kind and patient. I saw Aaron, the dental hygienist, who was friendly, knowledgeable and helped me understand the problem with my teeth and come up with a plan to keep me healthy. I had such a positive experience that I made appointments for my husband and 2 children, too! Thanks for such good care.
