5 for the staff. It wasn't always this way at this location. They shaped up their customer service. 3 maybe 2 for the Uhaul equipment. I'm driving a truck cross-country with poor to awful suspension, no cruise control, Bluetooth that only works with iPhone, and no power windows (so if you want fresh air you have to get blasted in the face because you can't reach the passenger door). First world problems? Ok but it's 2025 and this is a new truck. That stuff is baseline. Rent Uhaul for a local move, ok, but shop elsewhere for a 5-day drive. Beware Uhaul's price volatility too, blink and it changes.

ALWAYS fast, efficient, friendly and professional. I rent trailers very frequently and U-Haul is the ONLY place I look. Newell Avenue is always very well stocked and my go to place to keep my business moving!

I had a hitch installed and then took it to another place to have a brake controller installed and they texted me back some pictures of how the wire from the front to the back was run and it looked like a 2 year old ran the wire it was routed around the frame control arm and going across and around the cv axle it was actually rubbing on the cv joint it would have broke thru the insulation soon and shorted out great job. Never again. I wish I could post pics to show how this thing was run you'd all have a good laugh.

Dealt with Stephen and he was super accommodating. Explained everything for me to the T and fixed the mistakes of a previous location that I had a bad experience with. He kept my son occupied gave him toys and a box truck toy to play with to keep him distracted. He made me feel super comfortable and I would HIGHLY recommend anyone who is looking to rent or storage to deal with him you will NOT BE DISAPPOINTED and i promise you there is no catch. This man deserves a high raise!

Nice..clean..as expected..tried to beat offer from another place..
Overall good experience...only issue is their gas Guage on paper isn't the same as the actual meter in vehicle. So you could end up signing that the gas was at 3 fourths when really it was an 1/8 over half tank. So be vareful

I regret to share a highly unsatisfactory experience with U-Haul and Storage in Pawtucket, Rhode Island. My items were stored there for just a month, and the conditions were appalling. Despite a warning from another renter about a mouse infestation, my time constraints during the move forced me to ignore the cautionary advice.
Upon retrieving my belongings, I discovered significant damage due to water exposure during a regular rainstorm. Disturbingly, the storage facility reeked of dead mice, confirming the prior renter’s warning. Even though the facility claimed to be climate-controlled, the basic rain affected my items, raising questions about the facility’s ability to uphold its climate control promises.
When I contacted the facility about the damages, they displayed a lack of accountability and empathy. Their response, citing my lack of insurance as a reason for inaction, was disheartening. A facility entrusted with safeguarding items should ensure protection against elements, especially during routine weather events.
Within a mere four weeks of storage, multiple items suffered damage from both water and mice. The facility’s inability to fulfill its duty in preserving items, even without insurance, is disappointing. While I can understand potential issues during extreme weather conditions, the inability to shield my belongings from a standard rainstorm is inexcusable.
During my check-out, the personnel at the desk further demonstrated a lack of concern. Their audacity to inquire about me sweeping out the unit, when my items had already been subject to water and rodent damage, highlighted their disregard for maintaining a suitable storage environment. When I said “no, I didn’t sweep it but it rained in my unit, so I’m sure the floor is clear” the worker said “ahh yea, don’t worry about it.” Trust me I wasn’t worried about sweeping out an already wet floor. The dismissive response to my concerns was the final straw, and I am relieved to have retrieved my belongings from what I can only describe as a decrepit and neglectful storage unit. I strongly advise against using this facility for anyone seeking reliable and secure storage solutions. There has to be basic minimum of accountability and expectations.

It was an experience that I cannot forget. Its access hours are 5 am to 10 pm , which is amazing. You could ask for from management about the 24 hr access. They are hardly busy and access to the storage units is easy.
