Horrible… ALWAYS One person working there.. the store manager dont bother hiring anybody. The line is always full, you come in for a soda, you won’t come out until 40 mins later. Ridiculous. This location is a joke. Save your time, and shop somewhere else.

As of Feb 5, 2024, only credit cards accepted at self-help checkout. ONE CHECKOUT...NO OTHER...THIS HAS BEEN ONGOING FOR AT LEAST A WEEK. NO IDEA WHEN SITUATION WILL CHANGE.

We were in Aquidneck Island (which many people call Newport Island) and we stopped at this Dollar General to check out some of their inexpensive draperies for our beach cottage. I was surprised to see the large selection of standard decorative draperies and darkening curtains. I usually don't think of a dollar store for these, but I was glad that I had a chance to check them out. They had a good selection of sizes, colors and features. So, folks, if you are looking for inexpensive draperies, think about dollar stores like Dollar General to check their options and see how they compare to higher end, more expensive stores...if all you need is something basic, this might do the trick.

Today Jan 15th at 5pm there were 2 female employees who weren't at the counter, so an old man went and got them, finished his transaction and as he walked out the door one of the employees (the shorter one) yelled "**** you old man" and then both employees proceeded to bad mouth him swearing right in front of me. COMPLETELY unacceptable.........

Dollar General is a good store, I love to buy the toys there, I buy the gift cards also. I hope they bring more selection of toys to the store.
