“Has almost everything that I'm looking for. I no longer live on the island but it is nice knowing there is a place I can send my grandparents to when needed. I have been twice, separated by one year, and each time it has been pleasant with many options laid out in a very organized manner.”
“A nutritional gem right in the heart of Somerset. There are supplements, body care, makeup, refrigerator, freezer, and pantry items. They also stock essential oils and accessories, like jewelry and diffusers. The prices are competitive, but you can’t find better support! Owner, Diane and manager, Misti have a wealth of knowledge, experience, and passion for healthy living. They are eager and willing to assist, educate, and guide all customers. I was told they just celebrated the store’s 20th anniversary!”
“I shop at the local GNC in Fall River and I am always greeted with such great energy. I’m always helped above and beyond and always advised on new products. Feel comfortable shopping here especially when Nelly looks out for me on promotions and complementary items. I would definitely advise anyone and everyone to go shopping here to experience the quality service.”
“I came here multiple times while in Newport. They have many healthy food options and interesting finds. Their prepared foods are also very good and have a large vegan selection. Everything is clearly labeled.”
“Great store with a full line of groceries. I've shopped there weekly on average since it opened. They have a lot interesting things you'll never find anywhere else. They'll special order things for you (like full cartons of chocolate bars, in my case).
I've noticed that for items like sunscreen, probiotics, liquid hand soap and vitamins the Green Grocer is often considerably less expensive than Amazon, sometimes half price. Amazon has now established market dominance (it's the only place you can buy many things) and is jacking up prices to rip-off levels.
This is the only store I know of selling sunscreen that doesn't burn your eyes (Badger is one brand).
They have a cooler shelf of wrap sandwiches (and normal bread) in a dozen tasty varieties. When I go on a trip I'll bring them for 3 days of lunches, plus another egg salad for breakfast while driving. It's quicker, less expensive and healthier than fast or ski cafeteria food.”
