I love antique and muscle cars. It was such a treat to be in the place with the most amazing cars. My friend took me there for my birthday, I would go again.

Great collection of a very large variety of cars!!!
One of New England's most beloved attractions, the Newport Car Museum has over 100 cars constantly on display. The private collection (yes, it's one owner who likes to share the art of the car with the public) is displayed brilliantly in seven handicap accessible galleries: Ford/Shelby, Fin Cars, World Cars, Porsche, Corvette, Mopars, American Muscle. Award-winning films, era-appropriate music, impressive consigned artwork, Mid-Century Modern furniture, and a giant gift shop (some call it the eighth gallery) embellish the experience. Only minutes from Newport, R.I., this outing takes approximately 90 minutes (but you might want to stay longer) and is appropriate for all ages. It's affordable and offers free parking.
