I never leave reviews... But truly the worst customer service. So rude and unkind... I was genuinely uncomfortable while I was there. The woman at the desk was purposefully short and unhelpful. I will not return and I suggest you mail your packages elsewhere.

Worst customer service ever. H had made up her mind when I walked in that she was not going to be kind. I will avoid this post office if at all possible. As I left I wished her a good day to which she replied “I will now!” Really, very rude.

FYI i have all this on security camera. I go to post office package not there I was told it says I need to come back tomorrow, well it was not my fault your carrier was lazy and I'm bieng punished for your actions.. they made excuse o they are not allowed to get out of truck for safety reasons umm that's funny he got out of his truck to deliver a package across the street ,safety issue my a$$. Awful awful service! They absolutely refuse to deliver orders to our business stating they cant pull in to our property legally!? Wait, what?? Then the excuse was they couldnt turn around (its literally a looped lot, nice try). We have to call and fight with them to get every order delivered that is sent through USPS which Amazon doesnt even give the option to select a different carrier. Just terribl all around.

I realize it's the busy season, and the world is a bit crazy right now, but come on - really? Nothing says "I don't care" like blatant disregard.

I have never had such trouble with the USPS until I moved to Portsmouth. Packages are never delivered within the time frame they give you online and then they just extend the time frame once it hasn’t been delivered during the initial time frame. And sometimes when they do “attempt to deliver” they just note that it was “inaccessible.” Going into the store is also the same frustration. No one is ever happy to serve you or help you out.

I felt compelled to register my dissatisfaction with service at USPS on 95 Chase Road in Portsmouth, RI. I was sending out packages with clerk #9, her name is Heather. While I came near closing time, unprofessional treatment is not the response I should receive! I was having difficulty with my boxes and I asked for help. None was given. She had the audacity to roll her eyes at me and harrumph. i then asked why she was so angry with me? I asked - have you never made a mistake before? She walked away doing her closing procedures. I then said that I was shocked that she is so unprofessional! Then she falsely accused me of throwing a box at her! If this was the case, how I could throw a box through plexiglass? She then said ,as I left the office, that she had my address and was going to report me. Such despicable behavior! I'm flabbergasted that she Is working with the public with her inability to be kind! Please don't go to this post office, as you run the risk of coming across Heather.

I was there on Jan 22. I had a very important letter to mail. I looked up the website, which said that they were open until 5:30 pm. I arrived before 5:00. I was filling out an envelope that I needed to pay them for, when the girl asked me if there was anything she could start ringing up, as they were closing. I told her that the website said they were open until 530, and if I’d known they were closing at 5:00 I wouldn’t have come in. Since I’d already started filling everything out, I now had to pay for it. I finished as quickly as I could, which was only another minute, but the girl was hostile and rude. It was completely unnecessary. I got there in time. This is only the second time I’ve ever been to this post office and the younger man, who was there again today, was very unpleasant then too.She was so rude that I called her on it. If my letter doesn’t arrive I’ll know who is responsible. From reading other reviews it is obvious that this is the norm for this office. Whoever is in charge of these two needs to train them on appropriate customer service. They both have unpleasant and arrogant attitudes.

Best postal customer service ever. Steven went above and beyond on two separate occasions to help me locate a package. Hopefully he and his team get a raise especially since they are working so hard during this pandemic to keep the mail system running smoothly. Thanks for your hard work and service to this community.
