It’s very convenient that this market is near me but the young Hispanic cashier girl is so rude always has an attitude.
I don’t get it if you don’t want the job why work there if you’re gonna be rude to customers. She has been rude twice to me whenever I ask a simple question. I pay with Apple Pay and it doesn’t work she always rushing like girl relax. She the only one who is always rude to people

Aldi has the best grocery prices by far! The quality of their meats and dairy products are fantastic. The staff here are very kind.
I am rating this location low because the parking lot was covered in litter (I saw a dirty diaper). Within the store, the floors of the aisles had garbage lying around and lots of scuff marks everywhere.The restroom did not have a toilet paper dispenser just an industrial size roll of paper balanced on a handle and the soap dispenser was completely empty- unsettling because staff and customers will presumably be handling groceries with improperly cleaned hands. Compared to most ALDIs I have been to, the stock here is less consistent and a bit more disorganized on the shelf.
In the future, I think the store itself could benefit from a renovation, deep clean, and inclusion of self-checkout. Until then, I unfortunately will be avoiding this location as much as possible to go to one a few miles out of my way that is overall cleaner and better stocked.

Sunday May 18, 2025 . 7 people was in line waiting . A guy full of groceries was putting his items on the belt while I and the rest of the other people had only 2 to 3 times. There was no other cashier to open up another line which it was ridiculous. They see the problem but they dont care. Couple of us customer left due to bad service. I hope they straighten this crappy one lane cashier thing out . Why have 5 cash register for when only one is open ! Bad customer service. The Aldis in Cranston and in East Providence is way better than this crappy ass Aldis on Smith street. Lazy Employees as well.

There was an employee there named Isabel who was stocking the shelves and yelled at an old lady in front of everyone. The elderly woman was pushing her cart and was waiting for the employee to get the pallet of stuff she was stocking situated to walk by. It was clear that the elderly lady was confused. It was atrocious behavior.

Not the best Aldi I have been in, it could do with an update. Bread selections are good, while vegetable selection is rather hit or miss. There is no deli. However, I do like to do much of my shopping here as brand name groceries are not important to me and I have found their house brand of most items to be very acceptable

Aldi is a great store, however it's a bit of miss type of place. Unfortunately, due to either small storage areas or lousy ordering stocking practices. It's 50/50 that they won't have what you're looking for in stock. It is what it is. Good prices, particularly on Dairy, Eggs, Yogurts, and cheese's.

Aldi is kind of a depressing place, but I guess the lack of decor or presentation etc is what keeps the prices down. So just put in your headphones, listen to a happy playlist, and get your shopping over with quick.

The location was clean and stocked with a great selection of items. The cashier was rude and not at all helpful. Wouldn't even speak up when I told her I was deaf. She did her very best to throw all my items on top of each other into my cart and crush several items. I begged her to be careful with my bananas. Wish I had a better checking out experience

I'm really only giving this location a solid 4? because shockingly, they started consistently open a 2nd register & now carry Organic products.
Plus a solid win on the pretty bags??

Pricees are ok. It used to be better. Customer service is horrible. No one is around, and whatever employee you find around doesn't even say hi.
