I have purchased four of the sweatshirt capes over the years...they are the best, great quality but the really superior thing about Cleverhood is their customer service. These are awesome people!

The rover is very nice. The outer fabric is soft to the touch and inner membrane doesn't make my skin crawl (like some rain gear does) when it's against my arms. It drapes nicely over the handle bars of my ebike and the loops are ample size to easily fit over the handle bars. The hood is highly adjustable and fits wonderfully on my noggin.

Wonderful customer service. Thoughtful design of a very useful product.Love my bright blue CleverZipster. I've used it a couple of times now, and I have been very happy with it. It has a reflective grid all over (visibility is so important!). The loops fit around my handlebars and keep the cape from flapping up. The shape and size of the hood works well under my helmet and doesn't obscure my peripheral vision. Most importantly, it keeps me dry!One piece of feedback: I wonder about whether it would be helpful to put a belt inside that would help to prevent the back of the cape from flying up when riding at higher speeds.

I got the mini-trench coat style (not the cape) and couldn't be happier with it. It's very waterproof, fits well, and long enough (mid thigh) the water runs off onto the ground not onto your legs. It's very windproof as well but for all that one doesn't get hot in it even working hard, it does seem to be breathable in the correct direction. The quality of construction is obvious, and the reflective portions allow subtler colors than normal rainwear without sacrificing safety. It has splits front and rear of the perfect length for riding a bike. If you're not ready for the cape and just want a perfect raincoat the trench is worth serious consideration. 100% satisfied so far.

Finally, we took the plunge and went Cleverhood. Lots of good choices and they were very receptive to answering all our questions. Hey it was new for us. Many rainy days later we’re big fans. We do bike but the beauty of the cape is its not just for bikes. We get a lot of rain, but that’s ok.

Terrible. My poor parents got tricked into buying this garment by (I can only assume) some artless hipsters. This is NOT a clever design, contrary to the name. The entire point of a hoodie is for warmth...kind of impossible when your entire side is exposed. The hood itself CONSTANTLY pulls down on the back, choking you, and forcing you to readjust every 10 minutes. The overall look of it is cool...I guess--if you want to look like you're on your way to an Assassins Creed convention. Otherwise, it is just a cotton poncho. Exactly the point of this garment I have yet to discover. It is not weatherized for rain, so would not be useful riding a bike as the advertising seems to suggest. Also, the sides are OPEN and exposed, again, not suitable for outside weather. It's suitable for slumming around in your living room, but again, is hardly loungewear as I feel like I'm choking. Bad design. Neither aesthetically pleasing nor functional. If you decide to buy, do yourself a favor and do not buy the red one unless you want to look categorically ridiculous. My sister got the red one, and she looks like Little Red Riding Hood if Black Mirror did it.
