Joined here a few weeks ago and am very timid about gyms. Emailed 3 times for a facilities tour and never heard back. Just cancelled my membership. They don’t care about anyone. Just your money I guess.

The group exercise classes are well-run and fun. My Medicare Advantage insurance covers the monthly fee.

To all da haters...that this place is a little small, and a little sweaty, and the only Y in this tiny city in this tiny state is NOT the root cause of u being an outta shape hot mess. Work out, get ovah it. Sori/not-sori 4 the tuff luv

FAR too HOT in the teeny tiny workout room. I can only treadmill run 5mins at a time before I have to stop, while at planet fitness I can run for 40mins. No fans here. AC is set to 74 degrees, only comes on briefly when it's too hot. They removed the $1.75 water vending machine so if you come without water but have money, you're screwed. Awful business hours. Bright bright fluorescent lights complemented by white walls. Constant depressing early 2000s tunes on the radio. Closes at noon on Sunday and 2pm on Saturday when ur paying $65 a month? Oh but there's classes included? Why should I supplement someone else's classes when I only want to use the treadmill for 5 hours a week? There's no structured payment system. If u want to use the pool all day, take all the classes, and spend all day in the workout room it's the same cost as someone casually using one gym machine a few times a week.

Wasn't a good fit for my autistic son but our experience with the staff was amazing! The welcome staff was unbelievably nice and helpful! Highly recommend!

One of the best YMCA's I've been a part of. Wonderful people work at this YMCA. Particularly Jason was very helpful, but all of the staff members here are amazing. It's not the biggest Y, or the most updated, but the people really make it special. I got a tour of the entire facility on my first day, which isn't always the case at other Y's, and they answered all my questions and made me feel welcome. After moving all the way from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, I was made to feel at home here. I would be a member forever if I could! Thank you- truly outstanding!!
