My wife and I couldn't be happier with Kara at Ello Pretty. She is a true master of her craft, consistently delivering stunning results for both of us. Beyond her exceptional talent, Kara is incredibly personable; we always look forward to catching up with her during our appointments. The entire staff and owner (Jess) at Ello Pretty deserves a shout-out as well. They go above and beyond to make every visit a fantastic experience with their incredible service and friendly demeanor. It's truly a salon filled with amazing people who make you feel right at home!

do not go here if you have curly hair. i recently had a $120 hair cut where i was given the worst curly cut i've ever had - it actually completely ruined my curls - they are now stringy. she didnt even bother to style it and had me AIR DRY. my appointment lasted 20 mins so clearly there was no thought put in at all or maybe just pure laziness. i've never walked out of a salon without styled hair, that is absurd and obscene if you are going to charge these prices.

I’m in love with my extensions!! Jessica did an amazing job creating a custom blend of k-tip extensions and achieved exactly the look I was hoping for. This is my first time getting extensions and Jessica made me feel so comfortable. I highly recommend Ello Pretty for all things hair as I’ve been going to Jessica for the last 10 years for my cuts and colors. Again I’m so happy with my extensions and I only trust Ello Pretty with my hair!

Absolutely thrilled with my experience at Ello Pretty! My hairstylist, Annie, did an incredible job installing my K-tip extensions. Maggie and Dani are absolutely amazing. I’ve been coming here for about a year and they do fantastic every time. Additionally, there is ample parking on the street and an adjacent lot across the street as well. They offer complimentary drinks as well as snacks during your service, which makes it seem very luxurious.

I found Ello Pretty looking to boost my confidence I never had in my hair. What I found was a community of intelligent hairstylists. The salon is so welcoming and inviting. Every time I truly feel like so am getting VIP service. They have a wide array of beverages and snacks to offer during your appointments to make you feel right at home. My hair was always so fine and thin and never grew out. I finally have confidence in my hair and I have never been more obsessed with my hair. Dani did a phenomenal job with my color and extensions! She was upfront about the process and pricing and made me feel comfortable through the entire process. She truly has a passion for making her clients feel confident when leaving her chair. This salon is great, specifically my hair stylist Dani!! She’s the best she makes appointments so relaxing, I actually love having to go in to get my hair done. She convinced me to get my hair cut, it was definitely time but I hateee getting my hair cut. She listened to exactly what I wanted and nailed it. I’ve never walked out of a place liking my hair cut until now! I’m also a blonde who gets my hair dyed every month and she nails it every time. I know as a blonde it can be tricky finding a good stylist, but they’re great here. If you go to Ello pretty I definitely recommend Dani :)

This salon is AMAZING!!! I’ve been going to see Aubrey Carpenter here forever! The whole staff is super friendly, helpful, and energetic! The overall experience is phenomenal, with a gorgeous and cozy waiting area and a complimentary drink right when you walk in. Every time I leave this salon my hair looks stunning, and I can’t go a week without someone complimenting it and asking where I go. Aubrey always listens to exactly what I want and she gives me her input too as a professional and the results NEVER fails to amaze me. 1 visit to Aubrey and I knew I’d be client for life!!!!! I can’t even fully express how much I LOVE this place!!! Give Aubrey and Ello Pretty a chance and I PROMISE you will NOT be disappointed!

This is a pricey salon ($200-300, gratuity included, for a cut and color), but when you invest with the right stylist, you get more than the service you pay for. I've cut and colored my hair at home for ~20 years between sporadic/infrequent visits to budget salons to fix mistakes (both netting mediocre results at best). I leave each of my appointments at Ello Pretty confident, with healthy hair and a cut designed for low-effort maintenance + sustainable grow-out. I understand that not everybody feels comfortable walking into the space (I don't love feeling like a misfit in a room full of confident babes, either), but once I'm in the chair, I completely forget there's anyone else around; Lauren treats me like an MVP every visit and I genuinely feel like I'm having a conversation with an old friend. Never do I feel judged, nor like I'm boring her or wasting her time. I don't feel forced into uncomfortable small talk since the conversation flows so naturally; she's smart, professional, and sincerely cool. It's worth reiterating that the price of your visit ALSO includes intangibles like active listening. Lauren encourages me to share my ideas, photos, million questions, and requirements before we start. Any concerns, re: texture, length, complimenting my skin or face shape, color, maintenance, styling, etc. are addressed fully and thoroughly, and she checks in with me several times throughout the appointment to make sure we're still headed in the right direction/achieving the results I want, offering me the control to change my mind, ask questions, or fine-tune along the way. Never have I felt so in control of my appearance, nor had as much trust in the person doing the work - she always knocks it out of the park. The wait to see her can be long, so once you're sold, book an entire series of appointments!

I've been to this salon 3 times. Every time I go, I show them a picture of the blonde I want, absolutely no dark hair in the pictures, and they still leave so much dark in my hair. My last visit, I made it a point to say I didn't want any dark in my hair. I was initially okay with the results because she didn't leave as much dark as the last girl did. Then recently, I saw this picture someone took of me. The last girl I went to completely missed two huge strips on the back of my head. I'm so embarrassed that I've been walking around like this. For the price you pay...this salon is not worth it. I pay $300+ every time I go and am never happy with my results. The vibe is cute in the place but that's about it. I gave it a couple chances but I'm done.
