First and last time I will spend my money in this store. I got my husband a pair of Nike shoes for his birthday and a week later he went to put them on and one of the shoes was defected. The person who helped me the day of the purchase did not check is the other shoe inside the box was in good condition. I called the same day we noticed the defect in the shoe and spoke to a manager on the phone who refused to give her name. She also gave me false information about how they could help me and gave me the wrong customer service number. The next day I went into the store and spoke to the store manager Harry and he was very avoidant and had a very unprofessional vocabulary. He did not want to call customer service since he claimed he knew they could not give me any solutions. Secondary brands usually only like to take the credit but not the responsibility for items they sell.

I recently visited this store with my brother. Out of all the sneaker stores at providence place they have a decent collection of sneakers. I has selected 2 pairs of sneakers to request sizes and there was no staff to be found to help. There were several other customers in the store as well waiting to be attended to. I kept browsing for about 10 mins and finally saw 4 staff members come from the back. They all glanced at us and said nothing. They all remained behind the cash register literally doing nothing but talking amongst each other. I needed to go so I proceeded to walk to the register and request me size a gentleman took the requested went to the back for another 10 mins came back and said nothing to me. He then proceeded to tell his coworker to address me instead of addressing me himself when I was standing right in front him. The woman told they had my size but could not find the other pair. They both then around the store pretending to look for the other pair. It was ridiculous. They offered no other options such as ordering online, or putting it on hold to pick up when the other pair was found. Overall just horrible customer service. Disappointing when all we were trying to do was buy a pair a sneakers at a sneaker. It honestly seems like they wanted the sneaker for themselves. The whole story made zero sense.

I went to the store to buy a pair of sneakers as a gift and received very poor service, it seems that the attendants didn't want to be there working. Ugly face to answer, very rude and without education and patience. I went to go back to the store to change the sneaker size and the experience was even worse.

Disgusting customer service, I went a few minutes ago and no one helped me, I asked for a size of sneakers and the man never came out from the back, if you don't like your job just quit.

Went to the store to do a return. I paid cash and had my receipt. The cashier and manager both said they had to have my email and phone number to process the return. I was hesitant and relayed I did not want an account or to sign up for emails. They said no problem it is just for the return. As I am walking out of the store I get a notification about signing up for emails/rewards for JD. Ridiculous.

JDS should be ashamed he has a lousy staff, a tall boy with blond hair and light eyes started talking about me with his peers saying that you will count to three to steal, just because I don't have a high level of English means I don't have the money osra buy what you want my parents are both professionals for me to have to steal, apart from that I asked if they had another size and he didn't even check and he said no and took the sneakers off my hands

I visited the JD Sports in Providence Place Mall and their corporate should be ashamed. Their staff were working to accommodate the customers in the store including myself but the foul leak by the registers was disgusting to say the least. I couldn’t believe that they were making their employees work in those conditions with nothing but a trash can to catch the leak. I would give a zero stars just for that but they were redeemed by their customer service. I was trying to try on some clothes and got hit in the head with whatever liquid was leaking from the ceilings. Unacceptable, do better.

Very disrespectful manager Destiny. Was asking about a pair of shoes and I couldn’t remember the name of the shoe she rolled her eyes and said “ugh idk wat ur talking bout so I can’t help you”. I’ve been with management for years. By far the most worst experience I’ve ever encountered at a shoe department. District manager need to hire someone that has experience with customer service that has hospitality and work ethic. I would like someone higher up to contact me regarding this matter I already went to corporate this needs to be addressed.
