I had the pleasure of having Mark create my hair into a new me. I showed him a pic, discussed and was easily heard. He gave me just what I wanted. I felt so comfortable as he was professional and down to earth. A beautiful salon with beautiful personalities.

Charlotte is a curly hair guru! She knew everything about how to bring out best curls. She cut & reshaped & turned my bad haircut into a great curly hair cut. She formulated a plan to let my hair grow bit more to ultimately get to the original haircut I wanted before another hair stylist (who didn’t know how to cut curly hair) screwed it up.
Charlotte came in & saved the day or rather my hair from a poofy frizzy mess of a cut to a great curly silhouette ! ! Ty!

My partner and I, who both have our hair cut by Charlotte at Flipp, went to a large wedding in Brooklyn; an employee at the restaurant where the wedding was held went out of her way to come over and tell the two of us we had the best hair at the wedding. Charlotte's intuitive and thoughtful artistry speaks for itself!

I love this salon!!! The atmosphere, service, and products are organic and wonderful. Brandon is a wizard with a razor! He’s the only stylist I’ve kept and I always know I can trust him with my curly locks.

Such a cool experience, you don’t find many salons who practice around organic products, the fact that it’s an apothecary makes it that much more unique. I went to Forest and was not disappointed. He listened to my needs and his skills spoke for themselves. I love my hair and I’m a little on the picky side. Thank you again! ;)

100% cancellation fee they don’t verbally tell you about
I’m giving a crazy harsh rating and it has nothing to do with the technique of the stylist I’ve been here before and loved the results , however I was robbed 130$ for a service I was never able to attend without ANY warning of the policy - I had something come up I couldn’t make the appointment and I called twice 24hours in advance and another time 1 hour before because no receptionist was getting back to me 30 minutes into the “apt” I get a call they took all the money out 100% cancellation fee . I would have understood 50% or even 75% cancellation fee but 100% for a service I never got with “eco friendly “ products that were NEVER used is so disgusting and makes 0 sense and if services are this expensive yall can afford to hire a receptionist to sit at the desk when people are trying to call to cancel an appointment. Will never recommend this place again

I found Flipp Salon through one of their hair dressers. I have been wanting to work with Ksenia since I saw her incredible work.
I drive close to an hour because I know it’s worth the final result. My hair color and cut always come out perfect. Ksenia is a true artist that is passionate about creating an incredible style that suits an individual.
I love the salon and the natural products that you can find for sale. Everyone is super friendly and talented.

I got my hair trimmed/cut by Brandon, and he is absolutely amazing at what he does! He and the rest of the staff I spoke with were all very personable, and Brandon spoke and worked with an obviously intimate understanding of hair care and styling. I went in for a medium-length trim, and he managed to do a lot even by cutting off relatively little. The products they have on display are neat too if you’re looking for some quality, natural, and local hair goods.

Really love this salon. Jo-Anna helped me get the cut I was hoping for and that worked with my hair type. I left feeling great and the haircut has aged to feel great daily since. I bought some botanical shampoo and conditioner that has been great for my sensitive skin and super thick dry-ish hair. Was back there again this week for a bang trim and got more hair products. I drive from over 30min away and it’s so worth it. Great neighborhood to stroll through and explore before and after.

Just had the best Blonding service from Sarah Walny! She is so meticulous and talented. I was impressed by the level of care and skill she treated my hair with and she achieved exactly what I was hoping for at the end of my appointment. I have been searching for someone who specializes in Blonding and I have finally found them! Highly recommend! Her haircut and styling were also phenomenal.

I just moved to Rhode Island and was desperate for a haircut. I came across Flipp Salon and chose to schedule an appointment with Michael, who did such an amazing job on my hair! I can't wait to come back for a blonding session with him. The salon itself is a cute, cozy, and quirky space. Everyone is professional and I appreciated the creative atmosphere. I will definitely be back!
