Has it really been three years since I had this ring made? I’ve never been prouder of my design which Matt rendered from an antique setting. It was an education. I learned about diamonds and how they are graded with a tip of the hat to choosing an important Diamond. I chose a cushion cut old mine Diamond. It was set in 18k and platinum and it is the most beloved piece of jewelry I own. Thank you Team Hegeman!! #CushionCut

My 40 year old diamond engagement ring had a broken prong. Matt at Hegeman & Co. had to essentially build a new ring in order to restore the original look. I found Matt to be thoughtful and communicative about my options for repair. In the end, I was very happy to have my ring back to its original beauty with a stronger and longer lasting supportive structure. It was a bit expensive but you get what you pay for. I couldn't be happier with the result.

We went to Hegeman & Co for our wedding bands. We were looking for something very simple and particular and I called before to talk about what we were looking for. Matt set aside three rings for us and when we arrived about a week later, they ended up being perfect! Exactly what we were looking for! Excellent, thoughtful service and clearly very experienced and dedicated team. We are delighted and will certainly make purchases here again. Absolutely in love with my custom diamond bands that Hegeman created for me! Matt was so easy to work with and we were able to custom design the rings right there in the store. Would absolutely recommend them to anyone in need a jewelry help. They were extremely knowledgeable, honest and fair with pricing and I felt very well taken care of. Can’t wait for my next custom project!

Matt helped customize the perfect engagement ring for my fiance. His attention to detail and master of his craft was truly apparent in the final product. They utilize a 3D modeling system to render custom designs based off your preferences. I was a little nervous at first going custom vs out of the box, but I'm so glad I went the custom route. After multiple 3D renderings, we ended up with the finished product which they actually 3D print and send to you before production. My fiance now has a one of a kind piece that incorporated all of the elements she wanted in her ring and was ecstatic with the final result. I would also add that going custom gives you complete control over the cost of the ring so you can stay within your budget and still get exactly what you want. I highly recommend going custom, and if you're going custom, you absolutely need to go see Matt. Fantastic work and I will be back in the future for more custom pieces!

Matt is truly a wonderful and skilled jeweler. I was lucky to find him in Providence. I was in need of repairs on a couple of pieces of jewelry and he actually completely reset a diamond ring for me that turned out better than what I brought into him. He provided state of the art 3D imagining and a keen attention to detail. I will continue to frequent his shop and support him for what I imagine will be a very long career as a master jeweler. He knows his stuff!
