Great place to hang with family and friends, have a picnic, go for a walk or a bike ride. And on top of all that, the park itself forms a connection between the bike lanes and bridges of Providence and East Providence. I feel very lucky that India Point Park is part of my commute! I would give a fifth star without reservation, if only there were public toilets!

Beautiful park with good water views. There are plenty of free parking spots. This is a perfect place for walks or picnic. There is also a play area for the kids.

Great park to walk bike or scooter around. It has a playground for kids and plenty of open grass fields to set up a space to hang out. The park is pretty clean as well. The only downside is there aren't any bathrooma

India Point Park is a small, really nice park on the water in Providence. It was recommended to us by someone in town and we were glad they told us about it. It's looks our at a shipping dock. There are short walking paths, green areas, docks you can walk out on. Picnic areas. On a nice weather evening it is a lovely place to be.

One of Rhode Island’s treasures! The vibes here are great and perfect to clear your head from stress clutter.Check the weather before you come! As well as park near the neighborhood over the india point bridge, not a lot of spots open if you come here on a weekend!

Beautiful and peaceful park to go for a nice walk along the waterfront and there is also a really great playground and exercise court for the kids with a jungle gym!

This park gets its name from the fact that it used to be the focus of maritime trade here in Providence, dating all the way back to 1680. You can still see pilings jutting out from the waters which once supported docks and warehouses. Today, the park is a pleasant harborside venue with plenty of well-maintained, lighted trails, places at which to sit and relax, and a play space for kids. There's also a winding ramp that leads to a pedestrian bridge over I-195, which cuts the park off from the rest of the city, and also doubles as an amphitheatre for concerts and other warm-weather events. Meanwhile, the waterfront paths form the beginning of an East Bay trail that leads all the way to Bristol. It was all a pleasant, relaxed space when I stopped by, with the nearby highway furthering a sense of separation from the rest of the city.

A nice little park on India St. in Providence. Its located right at the end of the Gano St. Exit. There is a walk/bike path with picnic tables throughout. If you look out over the water, you can see the remains of docks from long ago. If you're into history, there are signs with pictures explaining the area over the years. There is a parking lot as well as free on street parking.

Loved the bike route. Most of it was paved and comfortable to ride. The park was quiet and had interesting people there. Nice view of the water. Clean for the most part.

What a great park by the bay! Plenty of shaded lawns and benches for picnics and hanging out with friends and family. We also came here for the fireworks on 7/3. The bustling atmosphere with the live music and food trucks was the perfect setting for a spectacular fireworks show over the water.

Absolutely beautiful place, always a nice breeze. There's two separate paths, one for walking and another for biking. Lots of trees for shade of you're gonna go midday when the sun is hot. The water is beautiful! Definitely a really nice place to be!

One Sunday we were walking by the water in Providence, and we found ourselves passing India Point Park. While we were passing, we saw quite a number of mobile/movable food stalls which comprise a Food Festival. Tip: The price for one of the tickets necessary to visit the food stalls is $20; we considered the value proposition and decided to pass.
