Very small shop, great curated book selection from lots of different authors. Decent amount of statuary and pins etc at good prices. Worth dropping in.

I am OBSESSED with this store. They have a really good selection of occult books, RPG stuff, and *squeals* they have Cthulhu plushies! I love Cthulhu. Oh and they have postcards! And cool buttons. And yeah, I’m obsessed.

I stopped in on Memorial Day and was really impressed with the selection of books. The staff were kind and welcoming. I walked out with an Octavia Butler book and they neatly packaged it for me without asking. That’s a great example of good customer service. I highly recommend stopping by if you’re looking for a book!

The staff at Lovecraft (Weird PVD) Bookstore were unbelievably kind and delightful! They clearly had a love for books and the local community—picked up a speculative fiction pick on the way out. Definitely stop by! cheers to them.

Small bookstore with a great selection! Books range from weird fiction/cosmic horror to sci-fi, fantasy, and texts on real occultism and spirituality. Overall the selection of books feels carefully curated. Also, shout out to the owner as my trip to Providence was very impromptu, and I received a lot of good info on what to see in the area which made the whole trip feel very much worth it. If you are reading this, thank you!

If you are a fan of weird horror fiction or all things HP Lovecraft or the Cthulhu mythos, and you happen to be in Providence, RI, you should definitely visit Weird Providence. The store is small, but they have an excellent selection of classic and modern horror and sci-fi literature, plus really cool art pieces and curious items for sale that you won't find anywhere else. The staff is very friendly and enthusiastic about providing reading recommendations. They'll even give you a map of the area that highlights sites related to HP Lovecraft lore.

Helpful, friendly, knowledgeable staff, able to talk geek at a high level. Wonderful selection. Came into town for this shop, and didn't leave disappointed. Left with some swag and a Howard collection.
