I took my fiancé here first thing this morning. The male nurse practitioner on hand did not use gloves as he tested my fiancé for various things such as strep. He was inappropriate with his passes (in front of me) to my fiancé and then insulted me and accused me of practicing Wicca (which is fine I'm not offended I'm not religious) but then back peddled and was very nervous when I informed him of that. He did this based off my appearance. Most of all my fiancé clearly has tonsillitis and Thomas did nothing to help him. The weird bedside manor, no gloves, and no accurate diagnosis? Don't go here.

I feel like I have to write something because I had a good experience, even though I was nervous with all these bad reviews. I scheduled online a day before, arrived 15 minutes early as suggested. In that 15 minutes I checked in and the nurse did preliminary things (information, insurance etc) and my appointment started exactly on time which I have never had happen in my life, especially at an urgent clinic.Maybe I was just lucky, but I feel like this was the quickest easiest experience I've ever had getting anything health-related.

I went to this MinuteClinic for a typhoid vaccine. The space was very clean but the entire process seemed very disorganized and frustrating. I asked questions about the vaccination process and other considerations and the NP seemed more concerned about money. Apparently asking questions comes at the price of additional appointments. When I asked about oral vaccine availability at the CvS pharmacy, she said it was something she had zero insight into. For the price of a vaccination, I’d assume that a consumer should have informed consent and a far better experience. In fact, she provided contradictory care information about vaccine interactions with other medications I took which could be confirmed by a quick search on pubMD or webMd.This place is a money grab straight up but is fine in a pinch. Don’t expect any service or bedside manner.

I went in for an appointment this Am, everyone was helpful. Do to Miguel (NP) being concerned, he sent me 911 to the hospital. He also explained all his concerns and why he was doing this.I didn’t get a chance to thank him

Don't waste your time spent 3 days with infected tonsils because this minute clinic in Cranston RI would not give me any Anti-botics. I waited 3 yours , the NP kept coming out of the office and asking me all kinds of questions. For example he asked me "hey so whata going on" before my appt. He was looking for a way to deny my med TX. Then he over heard me talking to the receptionist about a drug I am on he came running out of his office asking how do you spell that, I need to make sure we can still treat you ! I should have left after that. Finally got into the room and he tests me for strep. It's negative. He says qell I can't give you anything but a recommendation to your pcp. Mind you I told him my pain level is a 10 and I can barley swallow. 195 for nothing they are scam artist who take your money. I will never waste my money or time on a cvs minute clinic again

The staff is incompetent, non-communicative and unable to handle the stress of even a single person waiting to be seen by a doctor. No one communicates with one another and you’ll be waiting for hours. I thought medical professionals were in the business of helping sick people, not here.

What a waste of time. Signed up explicitly for a flu shot and only after I get there do they tell me they don’t have any yet. The nurse was nice enough but the system is a mess. Call ahead to confirm the actually have what you need.

Very convenient. Booked appointments online, was able to be see doctor, explain issue and get script within 30 min. Great for basic issues without the cost/hassle of urgent care or ER.

I went in on October 12th with very vague symptoms that I had had for a few weeks. The PA was an incredible detective. He did not give up when I wasn't being very helpful - he kept asking additional questions and read all the way through my medical history and actually found out what was wrong. With his advice and medication I feel like a completely different person. I am so grateful - he was kind, caring, patient - and helped me to feel better. Thank you!

Long inaccurate wait times. Appointments mean nothing. Expect to wait an hour or more. Go anywhere else, it will be better than this. There is not even a person to talk to and ask questions, just a kiosk. if I could give 0 stars I would.

Echoing previous reviews - this is NOT a review of the store, just the Minute Clinic itself. We came to get a flu shot for my daughter and went in early to get on the "list". Although the app told us it would be a 53 minute wait, the in-clinic registration kiosk indicated it would be only 15. Sweet. As the on-screen timer counted down the 15 minutes, we patiently waited. The time went down to "0"and we still waited. 15 more minutes passed. We were still waiting. Halfway into the third 15 minute period, the door finally opened and were half-heartily greeted by the PA on duty. Sure the flu shot was straight forward and was taken care of relatively smoothly, but let's face it, a flu vaccine isn't a complicated procedure. A little warmth from the MC staffer would have been appreciated and a "so sorry you waited so long" apology would go a long way toward bumping up the rating up several notches. Will we go back? Probably. You can't beat the convenience. That said, we'll be armed with a good book or two, some distractions for the kids, maybe a light snack in preparation of the extended, inexplicable, wait.
