I started sneezing recently and I decided to stop at Walmart to get a box of Emergen-C. This store is the closest Walmart to our Providence condo, but it's not a Super Walmart. It's a smaller store, mostly clothing and health care. The food section is limited and they don't have a large produce nor frozen food section. Still, for over the counter items, they usually have the basic items and I was able to get what I needed. The parking lot is very large and the cashiers are helpful.

I go to this Walmart in a pinch, but for it's not my top choice of Walmart's in the area. I like to be able to make my trips to Walmart a one-stop shopping trip and this location falls short in the grocery department. The ice cream section is abysmal and that's a huge disappointment, but even basics like milk are inconsistent if you want options other than dairy-based milk. The frozen items are so-so and you can find things like wings, burgers, and tv dinners, but since this is not considered a Super Walmart there is only half of an aisle dedicated to frozen and half of an aisle for refrigerated goods like yogurt, cheese, and hotdogs, etc. There is an open deep freezer, but it is usually half-empty or only featuring 2-3 items. The dry goods sections are somewhat decent and I can usually find what I need when it comes to potato chips, rice, seasonings, etc. The clothing section at this store does get a bit of an honorable mention...they do stock some pretty nice women's clothes. The health and household sections tend to have a good variety as well as the cosmetics section. Self-checkout is usually quick which is a plus.

I went in on July 3rd to buy a small safe and a pitcher. I was asking the young lady to price a couple pitchers for me. This kid, or should I say young man approached me in front of her and tells me to stop putting stuff down that I'm not gonna purchase. Mind you I am wearing a booty on my left foot because I have a broken ankle. I had no cart, so I put my items down next to me on the shelf while the girl with checking the prices for me. I explain to this person that those are the items I intend to purchase but I can't carry them because they're heavy. Instead of offering me a cart like a decent human being Would've, he walked away. He proceeds to return a couple of moments later and try to grab my stuff off the shelf, but again I told him I was purchasing them, and couldn't carry them cause the box was heavy. I actually had to take it from him because he was walking away with my stuff. After the girl is done pricing, I make my choice of pitcher I want, grab my stuff and proceed to walk away and as I do so, I told him as you can see these things were not left for you to put away. I am actually purchasing them. He starts following me and arguing with me. It was all caught on video. He proceeds to wish me a nice day. of course, instead of walking away, he continues to verbally harassed me, so I gave him back some of what he gave me and he comes toward me to challenge me. I told him that I'm a customer, and he should treat customers with better professionalism and he comes charging toward me again, and all the while he kept saying "no matter what happens here, I will always have my job" He repeated this multiple times. In the meantime, customers are gathering around to watch the circus clown repeatedly argue with me. Every time I would answer him back because he was being really rude and I'm not want to put up with that, he would come toward me in a very aggressive manner. A couple of the customers noticed, and said some thing. one of them even approached me and said she witnessed the whole thing and said "You did nothing wrong, for him to treat you that way" and she gave me her telephone number. It was the first and the worst experience I've ever had in Walmart and I have been shopping at Walmart for almost 20 yrs. Thankfully not this particular one. In all honesty, the place is a shit show. The customer service sucks and the people are rude. No one seems to want to help. The manager came over and it looked like I was bothering her. She never offered me an apology. She never asked for my name and telephone number, and when I asked her which Walmart, this was, she told me "you should know this already, you're in Providence" i'm embarrassed to call this my neighborhood Walmart!!! I have tried to call several times no one ever picks up. The kid, (whose name begins with an H) had absolutely no regard or respect for customers. I don't know, maybe he was pissed off that he had to work that day?? Or, he may have little man syndrome?? Who knows? But his appearance was completely unprofessional, with grown out dreads and pants hanging low. Walmart needs to dramatically improve their efforts as to who they employ to represent them. To charge toward a woman with that much aggression and still have a job, is unbeknownst to me. If I had been with my husband, he would've never pulled that on me. I was a woman, I could barely walk, which I'm sure is on the video and I have no Cart. Instead of being a jerk to me, he could've offered me help. But it was obvious he hasn't been trained. I give this particular Walmart less than one star. Signed, One unhappy Latina

I go to this Walmart only out of convenience because it is local. Everything is self checkout now and out of all the Walmarts in the state they have the thinnest paper bags. You basically get any condensation on them and they fall apart. If your going to raise prices so high atleast get paper bags like all your neighboring stores. Also almost everything is locked up in the store but no one ever has keys.

I made an online order for some groceries and dog food to be delivered 4-5p.m. Tracking shows driver picked it up but never left the store. I reached manager of store 2 hours after driver picked up my order and she just made exuses and said driver was returning order to the store. I called the driver and besides a kid she had screaming, she didn't understand a word of English

Walmart has a reputation as a low end store, but one with much of what you need in these times of high prices, including affordable groceries. Regrettably, this location is not a Walmart superstore, so even those cheaper groceries are in limited supply here. I can't find many fresh vegetables or the variety of dairy products I can get just a few miles up the road in North Attleboro, but that makes sense since there are only a few refrigerators aisles down the middle of the grocery area. Strangely though, it's also hard to find shelf stable things like whole bean coffee here too (even Aldi stocks 2-4 varieties in a store that's even smaller). While I can understand having a more limited store of food items in a smaller store, what I can't understand is why this store is as rundown and dirty as it is. Given the diverse clientele shopping here (including higher income east side residents, Brown grad students, and workers at the many nearby medical offices, as well as the likely lower income residents living in the store neighborhood), I'm saddened and disappointed that the Walmart corporation seems to have forgotten this outpost prominently bearing their name. Years ago, the North Attleboro store got a makeover; this branch still has awful lighting and awkward aisle setups, and a vaguely unclean unwelcoming vibe. I come here only if I'm at the main Providence post office. Otherwise, the 5 miles further drive north offers a substantially less unpleasant Walmart experience. Too bad!

This Walmart is ALWAYS packed- or at least the parking lot is. I came here to pick up a gift for my friends daughter's birthday party. Not only is this store really disorganized but the layout - is also very bizarre. I couldn't find the makeup/beauty/health section for a good 10 minutes. However I have to say; at least today the employees were really helpful. They helped me to find what I needed and I didn't even have to ask. He just overheard me- saying I couldn't find the cosmetics section and helped me find it. I have to come back here within the next few days to get my son's 5th birthday present- which is a 12V ride on tank. The prices here are also not as bad as other Walmart's surprisingly. The tank that I was discussing is $400 everywhere else and here's it's only $300. It's even $400 online! I'll be back to pick it up soon! Checkout was confusing; as lines were everywhere and LONG. There was 20 cash registers, & 10 self check-outs which were ALL being used. Luckily, the self checkout lines went pretty quickly. 3.5 stars- with room for improvement.

There was poop on the floor in the bathroom when I came in this morning to buy acouole things. When I came back to return 2 shirts that didn't fit . I used the bathroom again. Seems like none cares because the poop was still there. 5 hours later. Gross Walmart. Gross.

This place was ok. Pretty much like any other Walmart! It was a bit disorganized (things were in weird sections of the store) and it was hardly labeled anywhere. At least it felt like it. They did have a wide variety of snacks, though, and their Christmas section is AMAZING! So nicely decorated and lots of different things available to purchase. My roommates and I bought a white Christmas tree there yesterday. There is so much to pick from. I wish they had more wall clocks (we were looking for one and there wasn't a very large selection) and bowls/plates. We were going shopping for our new home and it was difficult to find cute things for hosting people!

Really? 15 minutes wait for someone to scan an item and tell me the price? Starting with the fact that there was no price on it to begin with. And then the long wait and then the person comes, scan and turn his back and walk away. I needed to chase him and ask him to do me a solid and answer a question. Well thank you so much for doing your job. I don't review a place based on experience with one employee. But to wait 15 minutes for basic help, and then not to get it. That is little too much.

This store has good sales and prices cheaper than a supermarket. I just wish this was a super Walmart because the fridge and freezer area are small. Customer service is good unless you get someone who isn't willing to help you find something. The parking lot is a bit scary because people walk behind cars trying to pull out. They could use more people on the registers to get the lines moving a little faster.

First of all, I never shop at Wally World. I came in for an online pickup. Literally, this place is a COMPLETE shit show. Walla who is the manager at the online/in-store pickup center is horribly rude and has absolute zero regard for friendly customer service. She has the emotions of a robot and doesn't budge. How she became a manager is beyond me. Maybe she stuck around for more than 6 months and got a promotion. Horrible. -My experience- My gf ordered a couch online and added me as a secondary pickup but it did not show in the computer as I was trying to pickup the couch at the pickup counter. I had the order number, the date of purchase, the primary contact's (my gf) every single detail of information (phone number, DOB, address, etc). I was able to provide cellphone pictures, emails, date of purchase, date of delivery to store.... everything you'd need to pickup your purchase. However, I was not "in the system" as a secondary pickup person, which is total crap on Walmart's part. Walla wouldn't budge. I tried to get her to speak with the primary purchaser (my gf) on the phone to confirm my ability to pick up the couch. Her response- "Sir, I'm Not Walmart.com". WHAT? NO KIDDING! Where's the customer service? A complete waste of time. I have a pickup truck to get the couch, my gf has a commuter car. Ummm hello!? Do you think me, a bearded 32 year old man would be there to try and steal a $200 pink couch? What a joke. This place sucks. The employees suck. The shoppers suck. It's a cheap ass store. It's the new Kmart. They're going under. Target and amazon is taking them out and I'm so glad because Walmart is a joke. You get what you pay for. That includes quality of the item, the customer service, the environment of the store and overall shopping experience. Disgusting. I'll stick with target who actually tries to please their customers and takes care of their employees and stores. ZERO STARS AND WALLA THE ONLINE PICKUP MANAGER CAN SUCK A BIG FAT DINGUS. This is the last time I step foot in a piss scented Wally World ever again. PEACE!

I cannot rely on this store, given my experience. I ordered an item online for store pickup. I ordered it on a Sunday, an automated email said I could pick it Monday. I tried repeatedly to determine if it was ready and it was not. If I would call, I would be on hold for 10 minutes at a time, and sometimes they would just hang up on me. I called corporate, they said it would be ready the next day. It was NOT ready as they had promised. It's now 4 business days later, and I, nor Walmart, have an idea where my purchase is located. I will not shop this store again or rely on Walmart.com store pick up. This experience was a waste of my time.

I do not shop at Walmart too often but have been twice in the past week. Some of the staff are not too friendly. But...... I really really lucked out when I was waited on by Tatayana in the infant department. ( I think she said her boss is named Dave). She helped me pick out car seats for grandchildren. She was extra extra helpful, knowledgeable and good-natured. She went all out to help the customer and this made a great impression and made the Walmart experience very pleasant. Thank-you so much!
