Had an emergent tire issue, called Pep Boys. A gentleman named Pete answered the phone and told me to come right in and that he would take care of it. As soon as I got there, Pete was very friendly and took care of the issue right away. I was able to get in and out very quickly while receiving exceptional customer service. Highly recommended!!!!

The Manager Pete at the North Main Street Providence store was top notch. All we needed was a brake light bulb and he took the 10 minutes just as they opened to change it.

Service took over three hours after a 60 minute estimate. When I drove away the brake system had air in it and I almost crashed immediately because the brakes were not working. The car continued to move even after slamming the brakes fully. I had to come back for them to be fixed and the front desk shrugged it off like this happens all the time.

Brought in my car for an alignment in the morning roughly 9am, called around 2pm to see if itvwas done, was told it was almost done another 1/2hour needed. took till 4pm for them to look at it, called me and said I needed new tierod ends to do the alignment, was quoted $900+ absolutely outrageous when a tierod end is simple to install and costs less than $20.

They broke 3 of my tire sensors while installing new tires and had the nerve to try and charge me for it. I called their customer service to file a complaint and ask for reimbursement since I had to pay out of pocket to fix what THEY broke. Of course, they denied my claim because their reps lied and said I was already aware of the problem before my car was brought in.

Excellent and patient service, on a very busy summer day. The service manager was the only one at the location, and he was still kind and communicative through the whole process.

The technicians as well as management are absolutely incompetent. They claimed the couldn’t find anything wrong with my vehichle, next day I bring it to a competitor and they found root causes for all 3 issues I experienced. Pep boys claimed NONE of their techs could find a single thing wrong. Wasted my time and money

I had an 11:30 am appointment for an oil change and to plug a leak in a tire. By 12:30 pm, I received a text that the car was ready, but they didn't fix the tire. By 2:20, it's still not ready even though I was told it would be soon (30 min ago). Seriously? Almost 3 hours for someone who's waiting?

Went for an alignment I was treated very nicely the manager Pete help me install some vents to my car. He was very polite thank you Pete for helping someone like myself especially that I am on crutches. I highly recommend this place. They took care of it very fast thank you again.

Had an issue where a new part needed to be ordered and received prior to wheel replacement. The staff at the North Main Street location were very accommodating and understanding. I really appreciate the customer service.

Pep boys has improved their game. They did the job quickly and did quality work. It was not bargain basement pricing....the service was higher quality than I've seen in the past. Consider trying them for your next repair !

Booked appointment online. When I turned up I was told they could not do the service right away as they were short staffed.
These things obviously happen, but a phone call to update that there might be a delay or to reschedule appointment would have been appreciated.

Mark at Pep Boys is great. Very professional, efficient, and kind. He explained the problem with the car, how it was fixed, and did not attempt to upsell unnecessary fixes. Definitely will return to this Pep Boys!
