Great fast very knowledgeable crew. I have a high power electric scooter. They can do electrical repairs and installs. They have changed break pads I have Zoom brakes they bleed them both perfect They also changed my tires. Also my front fender on my scooter was hanging off they fixed that for free. There just a good reliable shop. Besides repairs they have a extension inventory of bikes and gear. Pretty sure they due trade Ins don't quote me lol trade in bikes must meet a standard to qualify as a trade in.

If your not cool enough you will not be helped. Thats how we felt after being in there for 15 mins without so much as a hello.
Went in to buy a mtn bike and shoes for my teenage daughter and myself. We were the only ones in the shop mid-day weekend. Walked around and not a soul came up to us to ask if we needed any help or said hello when we walked by the employees more than once. We stood there and looked around walked to the front where 2 employees were in conversation and not one looked up at us. We walked back to bikes (3k) pulling a few out of the racks and still nothing. I went in there ready to buy and wound up walking back to the front door to catch someones eyes, they never looked up. Walked out without even an acknowledgment we had been there. For a place that sells bikes in the thousands of dollars they sure don't operate like it. Our take away wether true or percived was unless you look the part don't count on customer service.

The tire popped on my scooter on Saturday. I dropped it off at Providence Bicycle on Sunday, and it was all set and ready for pickup by Monday. No complaints here. 5 stars and highly recommended!

We were looking for a bike rack for an older model car before driving halfway across the country. We called PB and they said they had a used rack for sale on consignment that might work. We went to the store the afternoon before our long drive, and the staff was super helpful, bringing the rack out to the parking lot to see if it would fit, taking off the spare tire and then mounting the whole rack for us, plus they racked and secured the bike, which we had brought in the back of the car. I asked them to charge for the extra labor, but they wouldn't. Their help made our 2,000-mile road trip much easier. Thanks!

I needed a rental bike for riding around Providence and the lovely East Bay bikeway. Providence Bicycle felt like the Holy Grail of bike stores! Just approaching the location and seeing the incredible historic 1800’s building it resides in, with a striking tower, was a cool experience! My rental bike was great and the customer service was over the top, and they offer delivery if needed. I didn’t have a chance to look closely but there were many special bikes in stock. I have popped into quite a few bike stores while traveling in the US and around the world and this is the most beautiful bike store I have ever seen. A top notch local family business!

I was stranded on the other side of Providence from my home, because my wheel had mysteriously fallen off my bike, and I could not seem to get it reattached myself, so I called Providence Bicycle. I've been a customer for at least 13 years, and have always trusted them with my bike needs. They actually sent someone out to my location, where I was stranded, and they fixed my bike, and even helped me with securing the cargo on my bike. I am so grateful to know them, and that they actually came to my need, when I had no where else to turn. Love you guys! - Robbin.
