The place is nice, clean and the vibes are immaculate!
After my surgery last year I lost a lot of hair and it was very damaged so I decided to chop it off with Patricia and she gave me my confidence back! :) My hair is growing out so nice and healthy now, I get so many compliments and I feel so much better about myself. Patricia educated me on how to style it and take care of it to avoid further damage. She was amazing. 10/10 experience!

Visited on a recommendation from a friend. Simony was my stylist and she was great. Before we got started, she asked me about my hair and we discussed a scalp condition I have. The care, attention, and information she gave was also much appreciated. She gave me an awesome cut and I look forward to my next visit.

This is the first salon I’ve been to in RI. I chose this one because they use Aveda products, I’ll keep going back because it’s exactly the kind of place I was looking for. The owner greeted me and consulted with me about the color I was going for and the color came out beautifully. Patricia cut & colored my hair, not just that though, she transformed my hair from straight and center of my back length to right above my shoulders with natural curls! I haven’t ever been shown just how curly my hair can be when it’s shorter, but Patricia had a vision and went with it. I absolutely LOVE my new hair, it’s perfect for me! Thank you to the whole team!

I went to Aruverde for a haircut for the first time today. I saw Patricia. Everyone at the salon was very kind, the space is inviting and clean. Patricia was excellent. She listened to what I wanted from a haircut. The results are even better than I envisioned. I'm so happy with my cut, the style, and the whole experience. I've already made my next appointment!

The entire feeling in the salon is warm and welcoming, calm while also being friendly. I always get a great cut and color is perfect! All the stylists help one another. I actually look forward to going!

Great people and great skills! I'm a wedding photographer who had the pleasure of photographing a couple, one of whom (the bride) worked with Simony and company before their wedding day. The results were stunning and held up all day and night as they celebrated with their guests! I'd highly recommend Aruverde for your wedding hairstyling needs.

This hair salon is amazing. My hair stylist was Patricia and I cannot rave about her enough. She instantly knew what was wrong with my hair but was super excited to help me restore it and did she ever! I haven't seen my curls since high school (2010) and they are bouncy, flowy and healthy. I cannot wait to continue the healthy hair growth journey with Patricia. Not to mention the staff was amazing too and super knowledgeable. I cannot wait to go back in May!

Cannot recommend this place highly enough. Love the owner and stylists here. All are highly talented, very friendly and responsive to my requests. These are professionals; they know what they are doing. Although I go to one primary stylist here, I have occasionally visited with at least two other stylists over the last three years when my primary stylist wasn’t available. I am always very pleased with style, color and cut no matter which stylist I see. The stylists openly collaborate and they confer to collectively make recommendations when I have specific style requests. Best of all, the stylists here clearly like each other: when I come in, it feels like I’m being invited to join a group of fun and kind friends in their long-running conversations about this or that, and who are happy to engage me in their comfortable chit chat (or to leave me in peace, if I prefer).

Simony was absolutely amazing.
My hair was severely damaged and overprocessed by a different stylist a year ago, and Simony worked hard to give me exactly what I wanted today while protecting my hair and maintaining almost all of my length while being kind and walking me through every step of the process before she started and while she worked. The fee for my color consultation also went towards my eventual services.
We set up a great schedule for maintenance that will work with my busy schedule, and she made accommodations, especially at the shampoo bowl, that helped to ease my chronic pain and make the experience more enjoyable.
The atmosphere was great, and I highly recommend this salon, especially if you are coming in with damaged hair, have curls, or are a member of any minority.
Make an appointment early because their books fill up quickly.

I’m absolutely in love with this place and its owner and staff. I’ve been natural over 10 years. I am very particular about who does my hair because I’ve had people damage it before. This place is great for any type of hair not just curly hair. The thought and care they put into the craft is amazing. I love the energy of the shop and the thoughtfulness of the staff and the owner. This place is super welcoming and just wonderful to be in. Diverse and inclusive. Also very affordable for curly hair. Folks love to overcharge us with curly hair since not all stylists do curly hair. As the owner Simony said “We do hair here! Everyone is welcomed. And we aren’t going to charge more for your texture. That’s your hair and we do hair.”
Patricia was my stylist and she was super friendly and gave me good information to care for my hair. This place is not only wonderful for your hair but your spirit as well. Simony schooled me and another client about the science beyond differences between how we need to care for our hair even though we both have curly hair. I was so impressed by her knowledge, care and love for her craft. It’s very apparent in her work and her business.
I highly recommend this place. I can’t wait to go back in a few months for my next trim. I forgot to take a picture of my trim. Next time.

When I say that Simony TRANSFORMED my hair, I also mean that she transformed my love and attitude for my hair. I was dealing with curly hair that had been straightened and treated as straight hair for years, and was in major need of curly help. Lucky for me--Simony was there to not only give me a killer curly cut, but also to educate me on products, techniques and how to self style. She has a great eye for individual style and was spot on with her recommendations. I am really excited to continue my curly hair journey with her!
