Legit the worse bank I ever ; had a safety deposit box with them and they didn’t tell anyone that they were no longer keeping the boxes and that we would need to remove the items . By the time I went to get the stuff out they told me that they have removed my stuff and had no idea where it went too. I have gone back atleast 6 times to see if they would provide an update to what happened to my items. No one knows where it went to at all and it’s so upsetting, I emailed the head person of this branch and never heard back from them either . This place is a joke and the awful service that comes with it is too . Only go here to use an atm if you have to use anything

Fantastic service is normal for this location. Branch manager Sharon is delightful to deal with and financial adviser Yalisa is very professional and helpful in all situations.

This location is understaffed so there’s usually a long wait. I’ve had a couple of poor experiences at this specific location.

To whoever at Santander may care to be concerned,
When Proximity & Multiple Locations are not enough to keep your average working stiffs happy... you should be reconsidering Customer Service/Care practices... I'm just saying

Didn’t let me take out money because I Didn’t have my debit card which I lost but I provided my ID. I’m also employed with Santander which I’m not sure why I wasn’t still able to withdraw my own money. Will be switching to BOA.

This by far is the worst banking experience I've ever had. -They charge you a fee for not using the account per month -They are extremely rude and condescending -You need a smartphone to make an account with the bank Never bank here.

Ran into a short line at Elmhurst Santander today….manager (Sharon) quietly approached each customer to see if redirection was possible….it worked and the line shortened. It was handled with such grace+professionalism…..great customer service. ⭐️

This is a bank chain which I do not recommend at all. Their service is beyond terrible. The manager,Jeff, actively withheld my parents account funds to keep it locked at 0.02%, depriving them of over $14,000 in APY interest gains and when I actively tried to help them put money into another account with higher interest, intervened to ensure that their money would not be moved. It wasn't until I called RI department of elderly affairs and RI state attorney general's office that I could get their account released. Unfortunately, now they are holding my own money of almost $10,000 and won't release my funds. Is this the gestapo? I highly recommend using any other bank, yeah you heard me wells Fargo. Santander doesn't understand how to do proper business, legally and fairlyThe other branch, on North main street in Providence, isn't any better. The branch manager, Scarlet Pena Espinal, is another unhinged character. When I asked for her business card so I could report her, she tore it because "she wasn't comfortable giving her cell phone number to me ' , please see the attached photo, and would not allow me to close my account even though SANTANDER Corporate sent me a pretty clear letter stating that the account was closed. This type of mismanagement, poor customer service and flat out usury is one of many reasons never to bank here

my dealings with Santander have been a nightmare. unknown transfers were made out of my account, which they notified me about, so they froze all of my accounts for a week and finally gave me new accounts. took another week to receive new cards, couldn't pay bills or stop automatic payments so I accumulate several hundred dollars in late fees. After all of this, they decided it wasn't fraud and said either I made the transfers or someone used my device (which would be impossible). The money won't be returned (nearly $2000) So, my life was turned upside down, my credit ruined, and their response is - not our problem. Moving all of my business elsewhere. They are crooks and couldn't care less about their customers

I paid off my home equity line of credit. The main office in Boston recorded the street name as St., but it is Ave. I wanted my address recorded correctly so I do not have title issues later, due to the discrepancy. Trobel understood my point. He did not minimize my concern for accuracy and he is helping me resolve the matter. Trobel is excellent.
