This place booked my cousin's daughters sweet 16 for today and canceled last night on them because they double booked and of course went with the wedding but screwed up a girl's dream party. I saw another review from a couple years of this same issue. Horrible place to consider, do not book here!

Had my wedding here a few months ago... it still bothers me that my entire night felt rushed because of the staff. Several guests told me their dinner was thrown out without being asked. The staff also threw out my wooden name tags I made for my guests to bring home saying that they didn't know they were wooden. Just excuses... they didn't even care they just wanted to get everything off the tables 2 hours before we had to leave? Food was good and place is pretty but that's it.

Went there for an event. The building is dated and the music was awful. I couldn’t hear anything past the horrible base. Do not recommend.

Tonight we held my son's graduation party here and it was absolutely perfect. Jodi the owner is so helpful and a pleasure to work with. We did a pasta station for dinner which was phenomenal. After we also had a sliders, chicken fingers and fried station for 2nd dinner incase the 1st wasn't enough. The bartender and all the staff helping serve we so sweet and wonderful. We chose the 1st floor level because you can walk right out onto the patio and sit to chill and see the stunning view. All in all tonight was amazing and I highly recommend Skyline for your next party or event.

This venue was amazing I had two floors a beautiful like Waterway outside you can see from the second balcony the event that they had here was just amazing it's all white and checkered and blue lights it's a great place for a wedding or a party it's in Providence Rhode Island all summer you can check out the water fire events that they have you can look it up online outstanding

Attended an event at Skyline recently. The service was efficient and done with a smile. The food was spectacular. The decorations and the center pieces were stately. I highly recommend them for events.

Owner is a thief, a racist, a con artist, and literally screwed over a charity for dead cops kids! He owes so many people so much money it's horrifying. Everything he does and touches is a con. Run far far away from skyline. His racist and homophobic rants on social media should be enough but how much he screwed the city of providence should be the icing on the cake!

I'm so sad that I cannot give more stars to Skyline at Waterplace. Their venue is in such an INCREDIBLE location, in the heart of downtown Providence right on the river. They have a huge balcony that overlooks the river and a ground level patio that walks right out to the river boardwalk. We were able to enjoy Providence's Water Fire with private, front row seats. It was a priceless experienceDespite all of that, the interior spaces are very, very small and oddly shaped, making it very hard to move during an event. It also makes it very difficult for the staff to maneuver in between tables, causing a major traffic jam when it comes to meal time. I'm not sure what happened when we were there, but there were MAJOR delays and mix ups during our event. So much so that the wait staff actually forgot to serve our entire table. By the time the realized this, they served us ice cold food that was over cooked, over salted, and actually inedible. The hosts of our event tried to correct it by offering to comp our table a round of drinks. But at that point we were all so disappointed and turned off by the entire experience that we all decided to leave two hours before the end of the event. Skyline at Waterplace has the potential to be incredible. But until they make some major changes, it's not a place I can recommend.

I attended a charity event here and this place is terrible. The steak was over cooked I could not eat it. My husband’s seafood risotto was extremely salty. The drinks we’re all served in plastic and they charged a fee to use credit card with our notifying me ahead of time.This place has no idea how to run any events they should be embarrassed we left so early just to get a good drink and edible food. I could go on about bathrooms and other things but really why bother it’s clear no one in the management really cares.
