I was out of town at a business show and realized that I had left my business cards at home. The show was to start at 3:30 PM. I went into the Staples store in Providence, RI. The young man said let's look at what you need. After sending him the format that I needed he said we can do that. I said the show is today at 3:30 and it was 9:00 AM. He said we can have the business cards ready by 2:00 PM. Well guess what, they were ready by 1:00 PM. The customer service, product quality, and price I got were unbeatable.

Deserves no stars. This is the second time I came to this location and requested assistance locating an item and was left there standing there was no assistance even though the cashier called for help. Don't waste your time going to this location.

This Staples location could use some TLC.I'm a frequent flier here to use the printing services, & it's never an easy errand. The whole print service section is wicked confusing & inefficient. You can never really tell who is in line, who is waiting for a machine, who is waiting for mail services, who is waiting for something else...At least 2 of the self-service printing machines are out of order at any given time. Sometimes the pre-authorization doesn't work on the machines, requiring staff assistance to get your project started. One time I spent $20 or so on a print project, only to realize when I got home that it all came out blurry. (Partly my fault for not checking the product while I was there.)The staff is generally pretty helpful, although a few times I was waiting at the counter & I SWEAR I was being ignored on purpose. At chain stores like these, if/when the employees are being miserable, my mind immediately goes to blame management/pay rather than the miserable employees themselves. I'll still continue to come back to this location until I give up & buy myself a printer so that I can just print at home. I just hope to see some changes in the whole operation.

I went in and took a visa photo today, the guy only took one for me. I was not satisfied with the picture has my eyes half closed! I want to retake it, but he kept saying that how everyone looks.. I ended up paying 40$ for the photo of me looking like I am half asleep...

I have come here a number of times to get my hand drawn blueprints professionally printed. I was given realistic expectations from the guy who handles the blueprints and I have always been satisfied. Given their order flow, best to give them advance notice - a few days in advance. Also had a great and helpful guy at the printing services center when the self service computer was printing in color only, even though I selected black and white printing. He was really helpful and quickly remedied the situation.

Poor customer service. The few employees who did try to offer assistance, didn't seem knowledgeable regarding products or basic services. Those who did seem to have authority had a poor attitude and didn't seem to have much spirit and this includes the manager. Yikes! I've been here a few times over the years and try to avoid doing business here. If you have to go, just remember to lower your expectations.

I am really impressed with the customer service in the print and marketing department at the South Attleboro location. Vicky and Melissa both reached out to me to ask questions about the details of my card to make sure that they were printing out legibly and that the order was a success. I am grateful for both of them going above and beyond to make a customer happy. Thank you so much, my business cards came out even better with your help!

Who Woulda thought we'd be writing reviews about Staples, it's definitely a different world. This location is my go-to if I need supplies immediately. The shelves are always stocked. The management team are courteous friendly and willing to help. The friend and register help always have a smile and ready to assist. I did have one bad experience oh, and it was pretty bad. It was during the middle of the pandemic and I was picking up business cards. I had been standing in line for 17 minutes... yes I counted. I was the third person in line, including the person that the desk that was already speaking to the associate. After 17 minutes and multiple people coming in and out, cutting the line, not adhering to the six foot rule as it was earlier in the pandemic... I was at the tipping point. Most people were cutting the line because they needed to use the FedEx or UPS service. I have no problem with that however, it happened multiple times, and there was only one person working. So every single time that somebody would come through with a package he would stop helping the person at the desk and move over to the shipping area. Easily taking 4mins a person. After helping the person at the counter and the person in front of me I was standing at the front of the line, patiently waiting still with a smile on my face. That's when two people walked in through the front door past the line and up to the desk completely overlooking where I in the other people had been standing. One gentleman had a carriage double the height of the carriage full of brown packages needing to be checked in. The associate was about to take him. I walked up to the counter and said I'm so sorry but I'd appreciate if you'd take us next and if you keep taking the UPS customer is you're never going to get through the line. He said to me, "we're you in line... cause you need to get in line." ... Which was the absolute worse than he could have said. Mostly because I had already been in line for 17 minutes. I explained that I had been in line, that he had taken three random people ahead of the two people that were in line already and that it was just unacceptable. When he then realized that the only thing I needed was a package of pre printed business cards, he rolled his eyes at me give me the dirtiest look and then walked as slowly as possible into the back to get my business cards... Tossed them on the counter and told me to have a nice day. NOW anybody that has spent money on something is obviously going to open the package and look at them to make sure that they were printed correctly, which I did and he was clearly ticked off that I continued to do it. As I left he took the man with the carriage and a half full of packages that walked in off the street and at this point had three other people in line behind me and still took the man with the carriage of packages first. It is just completely and totally bad business. It's more the point that so many people were patient with the employee BUT the employee wasn't patient with the customer.

I was there today, looking For some cabinets & chairs I ask for help to tree employees, all tree they ignore me at all, spend 45 minutes when some one says that cabinet it's available, it's sucks, I feel so embarrassed been following one the employees asking for help and the guys juts walk away, not good place , no good employees, no good service! Never go that place again!

The layout of the Staples stores is usually streamlined and sparse. I went to get some ink cartridges and I could not find the one I was looking for. One of the staff told me they could order online and get it to me or to the store in 2-3 days. Too late. I needed it then. I guess inventory is always a problem when you are in retail and sometimes the less demand for an item means that they may not have it, but it's frustrating when you depend on a store to deliver and you come out empty handed.
