The VETS holds a unique place in the cultural life of Rhode Island as a performance venue for legendary artists, local performers and community traditions. The theater celebrates flawless acoustics, a breathtaking proscenium stage and exquisite interior with a one-of-a-kind ceiling featuring the shields of Rhode Island's original 39 communities. Visitors praise the beautiful, well-kept building, professional and helpful staff, and amazing talent on the stage. The RI Philharmonic Orchestra and The VETS are considered the best, and the venue is known for its great shows, comfortable seating, decent prices, and friendly staff. Attendees enjoy the convenient parking and the delicious offerings from the taco truck outside.
I visit here yearly for the Dance Factory recitals. Always a great time for the kids, parent and instructors!!

This venue is beautifully restored, great acoustics and located in a beautiful part of Providence with lots of good options for a pre show dinner. I’ll be checking their schedule to return.
