About Woods-Gerry Gallery - RISD
Housed in a stately 19th-century mansion at 62 Prospect Street, the Woods-Gerry Gallery is Rhode Island School of Design’s primary venue for showcasing student work. The gallery presents rotating exhibitions of undergraduate and graduate projects across all disciplines, from painting and sculpture to textiles, industrial design, and digital media. Its spacious, light-filled rooms and historic architectural details create a distinctive setting for visitors to experience the breadth of creativity emerging from RISD’s studios. Open to the public free of charge, the Woods-Gerry Gallery serves as a bridge between the campus and the larger Providence arts community. Exhibitions change frequently.
