The prices here are obscene. Compare the prices here to any other stop & shop in Rhode Island and you will understand what I'm talking about.

This place employs the LAZIEST employees. Instead of bagging groceries, they spend their time standing their gossiping with each other and let the customer bag every grocery. I had to bag 5 out of 6 of my bags as the girl working #9 was too busy chatting with her co worker at the next register. No wonder everyone in town complains about this place.

I would give -5 if I could. Gross food left out to buy. Rude employees, who don't help with anything and don't know how to work together to solve a 2+2 problem. Place should shut down and release lease so a better company could come in. You're tired and old ,S&S get it together.

Not very well stocked. Fruits and veggies go bad within a day or 2 of buying them. Way too pricy compared to other Stop & Shops.

The store was great. I asked three people if Rhode Island has a bottle deposit on water and nobody seemed to know.

Unfortunately the staff are racist. I was in the self checkout lane and sometimes those machines are sensitive. When the machine asked for help the staff person came over counted my items said she had to triple check to make sure I scanned everything. I watched her help other people of non color and she did not triple check my items. Then she said she had 4 people run off on her and I questioned what does that have to do with me. She was so busy watching me that she wasn’t helping other people. I was the only person of color checking out.

I very rarely shop here , I don't like the meat , produce and fruit . It appears as though it's been hanging around for a while. I go there for gift cards and Tillamook Ice Cream . I do not shop any of their stores for anything "fresh." I go to Dave's for my food shopping .

They're low to out if stock on many items every time I've gone. It's worth it to take the trip to another location

I ordered curbside delivery. I was notified that the order was ready. I got to the empty pick up area and sent the required text confirming my arrival, to which I received a message back that they would be out in a few minutes as my order was ready. 20 minutes later I received another message telling me to come into the store. I had to take my dog as the reason I am picking up curbside is because I cannot take my dog inside. Barring that, I enter the store, and on the right is this guy whose name I wish I had gotten, but I gathered from the orders he was giving, he may have been the manager. At first they said they did not have the order, second I was questioned as to which store I ordered from, third, why did I come in?They eventually found the order, and as they pushed this cart at me, with NO INTENTION OF HELPING ME to the car, mind you, I am carrying my 18 lb. dog, and as I am struggling to get out the door steering the cart with 6 bags full, this tall, older, “gentleman”, comes running after me to tell me I had to come back in to close out the order. I informed Sir Gallahad that I had already done that transaction via my cellphone. Please don’t assume that every person you see over a certain age is an idiot.I was not put off by having to come in, it was apparently as message sent in error, I.e to come into the store, as they were having a difficult time with the program when I came in, but the lack of an apology and no offer to help me, as that’s why I ordered curbside in the first place, was appalling. I will never enter the Richmond store again, and I am bringing many friends and family members with me.

Went here and they were out of the two things I needed - basil and broccoli! Not a terrible store though. It’s big and has most of what the average person would be looking for.

Bit of a smaller S&S with slightly higher prices than others. Friendly and helpful employees.

I avoid shopping at this store even though it is most convenient for me. Well, I made the mistake of going there today. Needed Vidalia onions (on sale) but they were squishy and rotting in spite of being in a box proclaiming always fresh. Then I needed ground pork. Every package of the pork was "on sale" due to it being past its original sell by date. There wasn't a single package of fresh ground pork available. Now, I just discovered that the OJ I bought on sale is also almost expired. I think I've learned my lesson and will never go there again for any type of perishable. It's a shame that this store offers such lousy products -- I guess the Wyoming Stop & Shop is for 2nd class consumers. Hopefully something better will come to town as our population grows.

Not my go-to place for regular shopping. The prices are definitely what you would call a higher tax bracket place to shop unless you have food stamps and don't care about the prices
