I brought my 2 yr old Cane Corso ( Italian Mastiff) to Scituate Animal Hospital, to have surgery done on her knee by Dr. David Clark. Dr. Oneil who owns the practice. Saw Delilah first, she was very good with her. Donna and the rest of the staff, were amazing, extremely helpful and patient. They really care about the fur babies, and they are there to answer any questions you may have. If Delilah needs orthopedic Surgery on her other knee, we will go back there. A huge Thank You to Dr. David Clark, Dr. O'Neil, Donna and the rest of the staff at Scituate Animal Hospital !!

The vets and their assistants are very knowledgeable, gentle and kind. Nice atmosphere, too! Dr. O'Neill has been very helpful getting my newly-adopted 18-yr-old, blind, diabetic Pomeranian back to good health. Teddi and i thank you, Scituate Animal Hospital!

I had consistently negative experiences here. Our pet got diagnosed with Cushing’s disease about eight months ago. Not once in her time with the disease did they ever advise a follow up appointment or a check-in to see how she was doing. Any time I brought her in, they would not even ask about her condition or well-being. A few weeks ago, they doubled my dog’s medication dosage without explaining why and it led to her experiencing some bad side effects. I called to speak with someone on a Monday morning at 8am and expressed my concern over my pet’s condition and asked for a call back. On Tuesday night, we had to rush her to emergency services. It has been over 3 days and I still have yet to receive a call back and my pet has since had to be euthanized. It is so upsetting to see an overall lack of care and compassion by the people who you pay to care for them. To not even receive a simple call back after expressing extreme concern regarding the health of your dog is beyond frustrating and upsetting. I would absolutely never recommend Scituate Animal Hospital and would HIGHLY advise people to bring their pets elsewhere.

The entire staff is friendly and welcoming. The medical team is extremely qualified knowledgeable and most of all caring. I wouldn’t trust my dog’s care to anyone else. They always take the time to answer all of my questions and concerns. I highly recommend this practice.

Several years ago we rescued a German Shepherd that we brought to Dr. O'Neill. Not only has Dr. O'Neil and her staff given our dog the best treatment possible but because we are retired and live on a fixed income have been exceptionally good at keeping costs down wherever possible. Two of my sisters also bring their animals to scituate animal hospital for years and we all recommend them highly. Thank you so much D r. O'Neil and your entire staff
