I stopped at this Bath & Body Works in Smithfield looking for a nice scented candle for the condo. I was amazed, how every time I go to one of these stores, they bring new fragrances and scents...I am sure their research and development group works hard every day to create new and unique aromas. The other thing that I like is that they run sales and specials often....once or twice a year they have their big sale which can have items at 50% off or more. During the year, they have many BOGO or buy two get one offers. One of the ladies working the store welcomed me very nicely and she gave me quick overview of the specials. Nice, clean roomy store.

The staff was very friendly and greeted us as we entered. Some say that's their role, but I can tell you most stores I enter, no one says anything. They asked about my shopping interest and made suggestions. I was actually only there to use a reward before it expired. However, the young lady at the register was super helpful and patient. I transposed a number for my phone number, and she worked it out to successfully use my reward. I can tell you that it does not happen like that as part of the Nirmal customer assistance. I visited this same BBW last year. I had coupons but didn't know how to use them or pull them up in my app. The sales associate didn't even bother to help or direct me on how to solve the issue. So this trip was a much better and more helpful experience.

Years ago I gave this store a 4 star rating. Today it will be a 1 star. The girl behind the register needs to go home she's miserable!

Forget the semi annual sale. This store never has any of the items listed on the website as part of its sale. To see what I mean just check out the website and select in store pick up.

I went to this location on 5/17 around 2pm to do a return and got treated like absolute trash by the young white woman working there. I was spoken to very condescendingly, she felt the need to inspect the amount of liquid in the bottles and overall embarrassed me in front of other customers by treating me like some kind of criminal for wanting to return three items. I will not be returning here to do my shopping.

Terrible Experience at this Bath and Body Works. So terrible that it was necessary I write a review.To keep the story short, I wanted to take advantage of the wallflower promotion this weekend and do an in-store pickup at my local Bath and Body Works. The store in Garden City Cranston was only able to fulfill half of my order.I drove to the Smithfield location (30 mins from my home) today (4/3/23) knowing they had the wallflowers I wanted in stock and I figured I would give the store my business instead of ordering online. I found them, went to the register, and asked the cashier kindly if she could honor the promotion because she could see I had tried to order them at my local Bath and Body Works but they had been out of stock. This promotion wasn't even 12 hours old. The cashier seemed eager to help but had to check with her manager (who was no where in sight). She came back and told me her manager told her that there was no way to do this and that I would need to call Bath and Body Works Customer Service.As someone who previously worked for L-Brands for a long time as an Assistant Manager, I knew this COULD be done, made it known that I knew, bought my items, left and called Customer Service.I was kindly assisted by Mel who price matched my items and voided my shipping. She understood my frustration and made it right.I then walked back into this location (which was empty), returned my items, told them what I did, and walked out. I will absolutely never shop at this location again. I know this location doesn't care about that, but this service was so poor it needed to be known.
