So happy to have our son at Cadence. His teachers are wonderful and we love our daily updates on his day, especially the photos. We can see how much fun he is having!!The director and teachers have been so helpful and supportive.

Our son attends Cadence Academy in Smithfield and it has beyond exceeded our expectations. As a nervous first time mom, I struggled with the transition to daycare after being home with him. Every teacher at Cadence has shown such care and compassion for our child as if he was their own. It is truly touching to see how much they care for him and even more so to see his face light up when he walks into class each morning. Right now he is in Toddler 2 class and Miss Mare is his teacher. Every day when he walks in he runs over to give her a hug with a big smile. It is amazing to see him come home each day with new skills and Miss Mare has done a wonderful job even coaching us on things we can work on with him at home. After the experience we have had at Cadence, we wouldn’t consider sending our child anywhere else!

Cadence has far exceeded by expectations as a daycare facility for my youngest, 2 years old in the toddler classroom. Sending him here was the best decision! His teachers are warm, loving, communicative, and best of all, take pictures of what he is doing EVERY DAY and upload them to the app. I never have to wonder about what he's doing or how he's doing. He is fed nutritious food everyday and it saves me so much time and energy. It has been a number of years since my older two kids were in daycare so I was very nervous but he adjusted so well and gets excited to go to school now and waves goodbye to me every morning. He comes home singing songs he learns there and gets excited when we pull in each morning. Thank you for taking such good care of my baby!

When we first enrolled our daughter here we were nervous and excited as first time parents. She had great toddler teachers Ms. Spring and Ms.Tina (they’re amazing) but as soon as they transitioned her to the preschool classroom we started having negative experiences.
My 3 yo daughter is non verbal and has a hard time expressing her wants and needs verbally. We were in the process of getting all the help that was recommended by them. I would get phone calls 3-4 times a week to come pick her up because they were having a hard time with her so I constantly always had to leave work. They’ve also mentioned termination a few times because they would have a hard time with her. I’d always get voicemails of her screaming and crying in the background. What REALLY got us upset was when she came home with a diaper filled with urine, dirt and mulch which made me feel like she was neglected. I didn’t even know how long she was sitting in that diaper but it was PACKED. She would always look dirty and was always hungry. We were getting little to no updates through the app so I was always wondering what she was up to…
She also came home with random rashes. As soon as I got her checked out I was told they were hives and poison rashes. I called in to see if there were any poison oaks around their playground but I was told there wasn’t- which was odd because she’s mainly there during the week. They couldn’t tell me where the hives or the rashes came from.
We ended up pulling her out from this school because we were just overall disappointed with everything and it was causing us stress. She is now in a different daycare. She is ALOT happier and thriving. I never got any phone calls and they never had a hard time with her. She is a lot happier and clean. Cadence Smithfield made me feel like my child was the problem when in reality it wasn’t…. I do not recommend.

I was really hoping to enroll my toddler here but truthfully If I could give this a no star I would. I went for a tour of the school and as we opened the door to the stairwell to begin the tour there was a 12-14 month old little baby in a stairwell with no supervision!! No idea how that baby got there- more frightening is that the teachers did not even notice the child was gone….. we will not be choosing/entrusting cadence with the care of our child.

Our experience with Cadence Academy has been amazing. The staff are always positive and clearly care about my daughter. Miss. Laura and Miss. Spring are kind and caring and I always feel that I have great communication with them. The pictures we receive of our daughter during the day give me such peace of mind and show how much progress she has made since she started. I would absolutely recommend Cadence Academy to any family.

The staff at Cadence have been so great. My children love their teachers and they always look forward to going. One of my children has a severe food allergy and they have been really diligent with keeping him safe. Their app provides us with updates which gives us a peace of mind. The Director is very involved as well, you can tell she really cares about the children.

My youngest child has been enrolled in the Smithfield Cadence Academy for 2 1/2 years. He has attended the toddler and preschool program and will be joining their Kindergarten class next year. He has two older siblings, so I am well used to the stress of finding the right educational partner with a highly developed structured curriculum.Smithfield Cadence has a comprehensive learning enrichment program with the best early childhood development team I have seen. Throughout the years, Tina, Michelle, Kayla, Julia, Ruth, and Tanya have been instrumental positive role models to our sons growth and development. From the in classroom teachers to the administrative staff and the regional director, Tracy, you will find superior communication and the true heart felt dedication this team brings everyday for the children that pass through the doors.As I said earlier, I have two older children that were in a series of different providers. The holding the leg routine, negotiation, and latching onto parents was a common sight every morning at drop off. I found myself many days in the same predicament. It was as if every child in these systems caught a poor attitude towards school. I would spend the entire car ride front loading positive reinforcement in the hopes drop offs would go well and no other kids would be there to start a chain reaction. This was always a stressful and exhaustive way to start the day. What a world of difference at Cadence. Jack wakes up in the morning MOTIVATED for school. After breakfast, he dresses himself and brushes his own teeth ready to go. The car ride is a rock party - he’s on air guitar I’m on the drums. Drop off - the teacher comes and greets him every morning face to face to welcome him to the classroom. I get a hug and a bye Dad. Zero stress / no bargaining / No worrying all day that I hope the day got better at school. It has been this way for years now. I used to believe with the older two kids that the struggle was just the way it is. I’m writing this review to all parents to let you know the Cadence way is the way it should be. I’ve never written a google review before, but felt compelled after years of seeing the positive impact the Cadence team has had on Jack, that I should share our family’s experience.Our children are the most precious asset we have in life. Entrusting them to a solid team during these crucial learning years is vital. Tina. Michelle, Kayla, Julia. Tanya, Ruth and Tracy - You are all amazing leaders and Jack has been blessed to have so many confident women role models in his life from such an early age. These years with you will most certainly pay enormous dividends to him in the future. I am grateful and overwhelmingly thankful for all you do. The unwavering commitment you show to Jack and all the children in the Cadence family is a true blessing to the Smithfield community.

Cadence Academy Preschool is absolutely wonderful. Miss Kayla and all teachers are so loving and wonderful with the kids. The day is filled with activities, learning and lots of fun. They offers field trips and supplies all snacks and meals. My 3 years old wakes up every morning and the first thing he asks is “IS IT A SCHOOL DAY?!”. I cannot recommend Cadence Academy enough. If I could give more than 5 stars I would!

Our kids love Cadence Academy in Smithfield. From the first phone call, the enrollment, through pre-k graduation and everything in between, we have received top tier education. We feel safe, our kids feel loved AND liked and they are getting smarter every single day.We are so happy that we made the decision to come here. This is a great investment in our kids’ future. My son started attending Cadence in January and we’ve had nothing and my son absolutely love it.If you're looking for a safe, detailed Learning Activities , well run daycare they are definitely the place to go, I would highly recommend ! We love being part of the Cadence family.

My grandson attends Cadence Academy, and we are very pleased with all aspects of the daycare. As a teacher myself, I was happy to learn that it is an educational based facility that exposes children to different aspects of learning through sensory and play. My grandson’s classroom is amazing, with clean and vibrant toys. His teachers are experienced, knowledgeable, and energetic! The school has a positive energy that you feel as soon as you step in. We are very happy to see our grandson getting such a great educational experience at Cadence!

I am really glad we had our little one transition to Cadence for many reasons! They are essentially a well-rounded childcare provider. Cadence is able to meet our needs and hopes for our child and family with their academic structure and style, warm and welcoming culture and the all inclusive meals and snacks was a huge plus for us, and so much more. We have plans for our little one to graduate to their awesome private Rhode Island education accredited kindergarten program that they offer as well for kids whose birthdays fall shortly after the public school cut off age.

This is a great daycare. My infant son attended for 3 months (9-12months) before he transferred to the location closer to our home. He loved his teachers Ms. Laura, Ms Harley and and Ms. Jen. Not only did he always have fun playing there, he did arts and crafts, was read to, sung to and in general loved. He grew here and had fun and most importantly we knew he was in good hands here. We love the app they give you to follow your child day, see pics of him, know what they are doing activity wise, when changed, ate etc. I highly recommend Cadence Smithfield daycare infants classroom.

Our experience with Cadence has been nothing short of exceptional in every way. The Director and staff continually pour themselves out to support each student and understand that not all children are the same. An approach that might work for one student may not work for another, and they invest themselves wholly into figuring out what approach is most successful for your child. As a parent of a high-energy 4yo who has struggled to keep his cool when frustrated/upset, I would carry incredible anxiety to work each day worrying about his behavior at school. But the staff at Cadence has supported our family from day one. They recognize that you can't boil the ocean in one day and were willing to put in the time and communicate with us openly to find solutions that suit his needs. They love him, build his self-esteem, and have taught him so much about self-regulation of feelings/body when he's struggling. As a parent, I couldn't ask for anything more.
