“Great visit to the store today. The owner personally helped me choose between gifts then gift bagged them up beautifully for me. The prices were very reasonable and the store is immaculate. My wife was ecstatic with her gifts. Highly recommended by me!?”
“Great staff, talented artists, inclusive space, and local gems! The staff member, Heather, went above and beyond to get me a print they had run out of when I was only in town for the week. I’m from Providence but live in Texas now so I love supporting local RI artists and businesses when I visit home. I remember when Craftland first popped up - I think I was in high school or college. It was amazing and still is. It’s important to have shops like this to visit for local art when markets aren’t happening. I’ve bought many things here over the years to rep RI while living in Texas and have a little piece of home with me. ❤️”
“This store has a large variety of gift items to choose from. Everything is so beautiful
it’s sometimes hard to make a decision! The staff is so pleasant, polite and helpful.”
“The Hen House in Chepachet, Rhode Island, has the look and feel of a classic country shop. From the moment you step inside, shelves are filled with antiques, collectibles, and rustic décor that capture the village’s small-town character.
Every corner holds a surprise — vintage kitchenware, handcrafted goods, and pieces that tie back to Rhode Island’s rural roots. It’s a spot where browsing feels less like shopping and more like time travel through New England’s past.
As part of historic Chepachet’s Main Street, The Hen House adds to the town’s charm as both a destination and a reminder of the value in preserving everyday history. It’s a stop where nostalgia and discovery live side by side. #chepachet #rhodeisland #antiques #newenglandhistory #thehenhouse”

“One of my favorite places for jewelry and gifts! Lots of unique items and pottery made by the owner Dana who is amazing. If you haven’t been by White Buffalo yet go check it out!!! Especially with Christmas coming up, it’s a good opportunity to support small and local businesses”

“1000/10! Maria is extremely gifted. The specifics in what she spoke about, no one could guess. The Botanica also has a wide variety to choose from. A lot of items that I’ve purchased, Maria will personally bless without even having to ask. She’s the truth, best in RI for sure! I love her, I’ll come to her as long as she is in business!”
“A wonderful browsing experience. There is so much to look at and experience for the beautifully appointed country store. It like walking back to a simpler time and place with smiling staff and calming fragrances. You'll love it!”
“My whole family loves this boutique. We shop here multiple times a year to pick up gifts for birthdays, holidays and other special occasions. I love how they take the time to gift wrap all your items!”
“My mom and I discovered this place coming back from Woonsocket one day, and were curious to check it out. When I saw the stand with goat milk soap for sale, I couldn't resist. And there was lilac scented soap to boot! I love lilac scented EV-ER-Y-THING, so I just had to have a bar of this soap. I love goat milk soap to begin with, and I was pleased to find a new local place where I could get some. Also getting to meet the goats was fun, and one of them even tried to sit in my lap! I've heard of a lap cat, but a lap goat?? That's a new one. Definitely check this place out. Nice local place that's worth the trip.”

“I so happened to stumble upon this mom and pop shop when I was searching for a specific Halloween ghost figurine. The seller is absolutely wonderful and had my ghost in stock!!! The seller shipped out fast in an extremely well packaged tracked box. I was actually surprised to see the ghost came in so quickly given that I live 6 states away. Inside the box was a beautiful handwritten note, thanking me for my service and a cute flower magnet. The magnet is now on my fridge, and I just love the note! This seller gave the best first impression ever of Rhode Island. I wish you tons of success and happiness!”
“Great selection of gifts and home goods! They have an especially notable selection of great cookbooks. On my last visit here, I picked up a copy of "Melted Cheese" containing recipes for my most beloved food. Service was very quick and friendly! Some of the items seem a bit overpriced, but other items are reasonable. In the past, I have purchased some small dishes for entertaining in cool finishes such as a bright gold to use for appetizers. Great place to stop in where you're in downtown Providence.”

“I'm so happy I found this shop! Rokn' Art is a delight - the merchandise is wonderful, with many handmade, one-of-a-kind pieces - many are made by local artists and craftspeople, so you're supporting the local community of creators when you shop there, as well as supporting a local business. The owner, Kristin, is warm and welcoming and always ready to help, as are the friendly and knowledgeable staff: all of them are gems! The shop offers classes as well - I've taken one and they make it fun and easy to create a great finished project, even for creative newbies. I can't express enough what a joy it is to simply walk into the store - everything is always beautifully displayed, you are always greeted with a big smile and big hello, and there's always something new to see. Stop by and check it out for yourself!”
“I love this store!! One of my go tos for gifts. There is always something different and unique. Staff is always friendly and helpful. A definite if you are looking for a different gift!”

“I just want to say thank you so much to Zoe for sitting on the phone with me for about half an hour trying to get a huge selection of fruit, flowers etc for my wife’s birthday! With being 2,000 miles away serving in the military, it’s hard not being there for my wife on special days like today but Zoe really went above and beyond helping me put a smile on my wife’s face. She loved the whole arrangement! Sincere thank you to Zoe, you’re a life saver for the last minute order for real…!”
“What a fun little store! We stumbled upon this shop after dinner while walking downtown providence. One side of the store is filled with home decor and jewelry and the other side has clothing, sunglasses, hats, etc. You can easily spend over an hour here. My niece, sister and I bought some jewelry, they had quite the selection. They be staff was also kind and helpful. I will definitely be back.”
“We use Edible Arrangements for get well, new baby, or other occasion gifts. It's on the expensive side, but they are very good quality and extremely appreciated.
They are very good with communicating and delivery, and we've had great success with this Woonsocket store in particular”

“Helpful and friendly staff and all the basic travel essentials you need; food, cold refreshments, common OTC medications, books, and souvenirs. You’ll pay more than you will at a pharmacy or grocery store but you’re also paying for the convenience of staying in the nice temperature controlled train station. If you want cheaper, plan ahead or walk to a pharmacy or grocery store.”
“I've been a loyal customer of this store for many years now. Outstanding gifts, service, friends = always a delightful experience! Highest recommendation.”
