My son left a $500 deposit at Toyota of Smithfield to order a Tacoma. A truck came in and he bought it. After the transaction, he noticed that they did not include his deposit nor did they refund it. They have admitted the mistake and called him several times but are stalling and the refund never comes through. Bogus excuses are given by the finance manager each time. It is beyond me that a business would steal from a young first-time buyer. Choose your dealer carefully and read the BBB complaints. They have done this before and it is on record.

They wanted to charge me $1400 for rear brakes... went down the street to a local shop and it's $400. Please don't get anything done at this dealership. Buy your car and leave!

Connor was amazing! He helped my partner find the perfect car for her. We left with a Toyota RAV4 Hybrid and we couldn’t be happier. He was extremely knowledgeable and personable, I will definitely be considering coming back here to speak with him again when I’m ready for a new car as well.

Absolutely great buying experience. We were in and out of the dealership in less than 2hrs from test drive to signing finance paperwork. I can’t say enough good things about James our salesman and the entire staff. No sleazy sales gimmicks, no high pressure to buy, the price online was the price we paid (and under estimated value!). After having a terrible experience at a different Toyota dealership a week before, this transaction was like a breath of fresh air. The next time we are in the market for a car we will return to Toyota of Smithfield!

I unfortunately had some recent troubles with my car, an 08 Scion xB. The axel broke, and after determining how much it would cost in repairs I decided to buy a new car. I worked with Harrison, who was patient, kind, and professional. After a couple test drives, we decided on a 2024 Corolla SE Nightshade Edition. I love it, it has everything that I could ask for in a car. Harrison was incredibly knowledgeable, and he made sure that I felt comfortable and confident in my decision. Sam in finance was also kind, helpful, and professional. Everyone in this dealership was a pleasure to work with, and they all were empathetic to the reason why I was buying my car as well which was appreciated. I would highly recommend this dealership and Harrison to anyone looking to purchase a car.

What an amazing experience! We purchased a rather rare Sequoia, remotely from Florida. The dealership was a breeze to work with. This isn’t a negative, but it just didn’t take much communication to get the deal done, and that was beneficial to me! The necessary communication was prompt and instructions were easy to follow. They aided with recommendations on getting from the airport to the dealership and had our new truck ready to roll! The easiest purchase I’ve made. Juan and the rest of the team knocked it out of the park. My wife was the one flying in and collecting the truck, they made it as easy on her as possible and the feedback from her is top notch as well.

Well hidden place, I would not have found it just by driving around! It definitely worked in my favor to getting the car I wanted and it was big a very crowded place. Very professional and responsive workers, they all went above and beyond to ensure I was satisfied. Juan was very down to earth and helpful, and Nicole very knowledgeable as well! I felt very well taken care of, especially with it being my first lease through a dealership.

Just a very mediocre experience compared to where we bought our last Toyota. The dealer couldn't really answer my questions. I also feel like the inspection on the vehicle (we bought used) was rushed as I have been finding small issues with the car that if it was fully gone over like they claim they should have found and disclosed or fixed. They also failed to call us when our licence plate was ready so we had to to call them after we got the check for the difference in the mail. Just not wowed by the whole experience. I love Toyota vehicles and this is my third Toyota but again I just didn't feel like they really cared.

This place is great, I planned on buying a vehicle in two months and nobody’s gonna talk me into anything… Long story short… No pressure and I ended up buying a vehicle that day, they made me a deal I couldn’t refuse they care more about their customers in other places. My salesman was Connor a 20 year old kid… This kids awesome, I want to see him be the top salesman. Seriously it’s just a real good kid.

I made a huge mistake trusting this company. I bought a used 2013 rav4 with 35k miles in late July 2023. It has been nothing but a problem since. All of these problems are compounded by the fact that I live 2 hrs away in NH.The car was sold to me with bad brakes and a cracked rear tail light. Both of these issues caused it to fail NH inspection. I had to drive 2hrs back to Smithfield Toyota, where I was told to wait for 2.5 hrs before I even got a diagnosis. I was then given a loner car and told to come back the next day. These problems were addressed after having to go to the service manager directly. This was a huge inconvenience and would have been avoided with a proper inspection.Now I'm get a clunking noise when turning left. I got under the car to check the tie rods but will have to jack it up tmw to examine better. Just hoping it's not CV joints. I was also greeted by completely rusted out control arms, steering knuckles.It's quite obvious all this company did was change the oil and slap a sticker on it.Do not do business with these people.

Just had the pleasure of buying a new GR86 from Toyota of Smithfield. My salesman Mustafa Akhtar was amazing from start to finish he made the entire "out of state & over the phone" process truly simple and quick. Local dealers wasted my time but not him. He truly was a "10" and I strongly recommend anyone looking for a new Toyota to give him a call. The entire process of purchasing this car was extremely simple and pricing was transparent no silly fees nothing extra paid for the vehicle I didn't need or want. This is the place for your new Toyota purchase....have Mustafa Akhtar help you out he won't disappoint!

We just bought a 2023 Highlander from Toyota of Smithfield. Entire experience was great! Connor our salesman was extremely helpful and not pushy at all. They ended up having a great car at an extremely fair deal. Finance was no fuss and they really took care of getting the deal done as quick as possible. I would recommend them 100% to anyone looking for a Toyota dealership with a no pressure sales team.

Military and young buyers beware!!!!! I bought a truck from them 3 years ago and it has been nothing but an absolute nightmare. I have contacted military legal team and we are creating a case currently. I’m going to break my horror story down in chain of events to give accuracy to my testimony.I was just over 21 years old when I bought this truck I was freshly stationed in Massachusetts, and I needed a vehicle. I found the truck on auto trader and gave the dealership a call. Long story short I drove an hour to go see the vehicle and I was not given the price of 17,900 Out the door it ended up being $24,000. The truck came with a spare bumper in the bed. I had asked the dealership to put the new bumper on for me, and they told me no. I also was offered 12% interest at the time and I took it after driving an hour. I just was excited to get this truck young and dumb mistake. It was really sad I was taking advantage of in the situation. I’m originally from California and they assured me that they would be able to to register in California. After I had purchased the truck and paid all of the fees to get it, registered in California They told me it couldn’t be done. After sitting at the dealership for two weeks after I had purchased it. I finally decided to drive at home And register locally. Within the first week, the battery was completely completely dead. I drove another two hours round-trip and they replaced the battery. After my limited warranty had ended two months later My rack and pinion rusted a hole, losing all pressure And my steering went out. They told me there was nothing they could do and I had to pay 1000 dollars. Shortly after that, I had a wheel bearing on the vehicle go bad as well Another $600. Mind you, they “undercoated” painted the underside of my vehicle A California young kid wouldn’t see. I was only given one key with the vehicle I took it to a different Toyota recently and they told me that I only had a valet key and I’d have to pay another $800 to get the key re-coded because it wasn’t the Original key. So thank you Smithfield only giving me one valet key. Within a year my suspension was completely completely rusted out So I replaced all of the suspension $1500. There is a weird noise in my differential from the moment I bought the truck, so I’m just waiting for that to go out. Transmission shutters as well. Also waiting for that to go out. My rack and pinion just went out on me last month costing me $3000. So to recap….Smithfield Toyota sold a 21 year old military kid a 10 year old truck with over 100k with terrible rust. Sold to a purchase price not agreed on delivered false promises all on top of a 12 percent interest rate. (Mind you I had 710 credit at the time). The truck in the little over three years of ownership has costed me over 5000 dollars in repairs. To think back on it, I was treated so poorly and really taken advantage of. They wouldn’t even put on a bumper for me let alone give me two keys again…. Issued me the valet key not even the original key. I can see the dealership has decent reviews And that upsets me even more. I have already gotten in contact with my military branch of services Legal team and we are going to pursue a case. If I’m not contacted in some of the damages have been set right.

Out of all the dealerships I’ve worked and dealt with, this has been by far the BEST! The service and workers were very patient, welcoming, and informative. They took their time to answer all of my questions/concerns to give me the best experience possible. Buying a new car was hassel free and they really took care of me here. I would highly recommend!
