About Admiral Dewey Inn
The Admiral Dewey Inn is a beautiful, historic bed and breakfast. It is a nicely restored older building with a cozy, relaxing feel. The rooms are very clean, quiet, spacious, and nicely decorated, with comfortable beds. Some rooms offer ocean views. Each room has its own air conditioner. There are no televisions, which guests did not miss. Bathrooms, both private and shared, are exceptionally clean. The staff is wonderful, hospitable, friendly, and hard-working, making guests feel instantly welcomed and at home. A continental breakfast is offered in the morning. The inn has a nice kitchen and fridge available to guests. The location is fantastic and may be the best part. It is a very short, easy walk to the beach, suggesting bringing a cart for the walk. It is also right next to a nice little market and a very short walk to bar/restaurants, an ice cream shop, and live music venues. It is less than a mile from Theater by the Sea. The area has a relaxed, fun vibe. Guests plan to return and make it a yearly tradition.
We had a wonderful stay at this nice B & B. Emily the hard working GM was hospitable and friendly. Great location, short walk to the beach. It was nice that there was no television, room was spotless and quiet. Our first visit, we plan to return again soon.

I spent 2 days in the King Size Room 9 with Ocean Views in early June 2025. The Location, staff and fellow guests were fantastic.

Cozy bed and breakfast, very hospitable staff, beautiful home, historic building, clean and quiet. Would definitely come here again!
