Flowerthyme is a fantastic local florist with top-notch customer service and a beautiful selection of seasonal blooms. I highly recommend calling them directly rather than going through a third-party site. Their team is attentive and helpful, and they can use fresh, seasonal flowers to create a unique arrangement instead of trying to duplicate a generic online order. Excellent service and beautiful results—highly recommend!

Ordering from Flower Thyme was such a pleasant experience. I called and was lucky enough to talk to Briette, but I'm sure everyone is just as lovely. I told her what I was looking for and she gave her recommendation which was much appreciated. They also include a hand written card which was just the icing on the cake. Also their pricing is great! Such a personable experience - if I need to get flowers in this area again I will definitely be back. Shop local, it's so much better!

I just got married this past weekend at OceanCliff in Newport, RI. From the moment I reached out to FlowerThyme a year or so ago to my wedding day, I had such an incredibly positive experience. Joy was such a pleasure to work with. She was so easy to communicate with and made such a great effort to understand my vision for my wedding day! Joy and her team made an already beautiful venue extra stunning. I would 100% recommend any couple to book FlowerThyme for a wedding or any other special event :)

Joy and her team at FlowerThyme exceeded all expectations for our wedding florals! Our guests couldn’t stop raving about the stunning arrangements. From the ceremony arch and entrance staircase to the table centerpieces, bouquets, and our sweetheart table, every floral detail was elegant, timeless, and perfectly aligned with the sophisticated ambiance of our wedding. The flowers also photographed beautifully, adding even more to our special day.
One of the standout aspects of working with Joy was her genuine care for her clients. She and her team went above and beyond to help us maximize our budget by creatively repurposing florals between the ceremony and reception. We were able to repurpose many of the florals for our wedding brunch the following day, and even the restaurant staff wanted to know where our flowers were from. Joy’s thoughtful approach ensured we achieved the biggest impact with our arrangements, and we couldn’t have been happier with our flowers on our big day.

If you want flowers to get delivered, don’t order from this shop. I ordered flowers online for a birthday multiple days in advance of delivery date, received an order confirmation, my card was charged, and then the flowers were never delivered. I never received a call or email that the flowers wouldn’t be delivered. Unreliable.

It truly took me a long time to write this because I am still in disbelief of the experience we had. When we first met Joy, we felt like we were a perfect match. We felt like she understood our vision and the price fit into our budget for flowers. We had many phone calls and email conversations before the wedding and had no doubts that our florals were going to be something we didn’t need to worry about. On the day of our wedding, only 1 bridesmaid bouquet showed up. I had 9 bridesmaids total. My bridesmaid and family members tried to rectify the situation but were met by rude staff members who didn’t seem to care about the situation. We were going to be repurposing the flowers for our head table so I was worried I would have no decor for our table. They made small bouquets quickly and caused our ceremony to be delayed waiting for the flowers. I had booked Joy over a year in advance and was disappointed to know that she was at a wedding in Newport and sent other workers to set up our wedding. I also spoke with Joy about our color scheme and what we wanted multiple times before the wedding. The plan was for orange, peach and white flowers. My fiance loves orange so even though I wanted all white flowers, I decided to branch out and have some color for him. Our flowers for the wedding were overpowered with pink and too much greenery. I wanted whimsical arrangements and we got nothing at all even close to what we discussed. We got completely generic centerpieces that were mostly filled with greenery and no white flowers whatsoever. I trusted Joy to bring my vision to life and I was completely let down. She was always slow to respond to emails and never showed us a mock up of the flowers she would be using. In retrospect, I guess I should have reached out before, but I truly had no doubts that she understood what we wanted. I would not recommend using Joy if you are looking for creative florals. If you care about flowers, don’t go on the cheaper end and sacrifice your vision over cost. I will regret this every time I look at my wedding pictures and see the pink flowers and disappointing centerpieces that were nothing that I had wanted on my wedding day.

The staff here have always helped me out without a phone order ahead of time (c'mon guys, who doesn't appreciated a last minute bouquet for your better half that gets smiles & compliments instead of "I thought you forgot's")
