Had been meaning to try them for months, but they have no posted hours on site, and they were never open hours posted online. Drove by and saw that the sign said open, so I called in. After 12 rings and about to hang up, thinking they were closed, they finally answered. Anyway, it's 'ok'. Pricey for the size you get, and the service was meh. Inside doesn't look entirely clean. For the URI folks, they probably gobble this up, but not me. It's definitely edible, but not worth it for me. Maybe the sandwiches are better.

I've been a loyal customer here a year. Great employees, great service, and great food. Until today. I GOT TWO COLD CALZONES WITH THE WRONG SAUCE. Fine, it happens, mistakes are made. So I called and asked for it to be remade, the man argued with me and said that maybe the delivery driver's ac was on too high, and asked me to come and see for myself, just how busy they were at that given moment. .... and refused to. After rudely interrupting me multiple times, he said that he would send out the driver with new sauce. Needless to say, I will not be ordering from them again, solely based off the manager that I spoke to. Very disappointed.

When I was a student at URI this was THE PLACE to go, especially after a long night. The calzones are bigger than your face! It's nearly impossible to eat an entire calzone in one sitting. My go to was always the buff-a-q (buffalo and barbecue) chicken calzone. The bread is crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The cheese is generously stuffed and the chicken is tender.

This place is the s**** Best calzone/stromboli of my life. 6 years after graduating, I still think about the buffalo chicken calzone. Can someone ship one out to California please?

I-zone is awesome and the food taste really really good. If I could I would eat it all the time. The chicken bacon ranch is the best calzone.

The order was ready fast , however they're not very friendly. The place was also a little dirty. Like cheese, well too bad, extra cheese is $1.50. Good late night food though. Would recommend, even though it has some negatives.

These are a bunch of good hardworking guys. People are terrible to them, that's why they get snippy sometimes but they make up for this occasional lapse of grace with their delicious calzones and let's be honest this place is lit till 3am. Be nice to each other and go to I-zone

I was very disappointed with the service I received from I-zone this evening. I ordered my food at 7:00pm and was told it would arrive around 7:50. I called and after a very short conversation at 8:30pm regarding where my food was with an irritated employee he informed me he would call the driver and hung up. After another 15 minutes I received a call from the driver he would be there in a minute. When I received my calzone, the box was crushed and the cheese in the calzone had congealed it had been out of the oven for so long. Needless to say I will not be ordering from here again and will take my business elsewhere.

Place seems a little dirty and clazones are mediocre at best, lots of better alternatives in area. The people who work there always seem grumpy but I suppose I would be as well if I dealt with drunk college kids everynight. One plus is open later than the rest of places in area so at least it's better then nothing.

Mediocre food and terrible service. Delivery guy was rude, phone conversation was short and rude, and the food took over an hour to come. Definitely don't recommend.

I-Zone is I-Zone. Not to be confused with International Slice, International Pocket, or International Zone; all of which are across the street, in the Kingston Emporium. This is the ultimate spot if you're strolling home late night, looking for grub. Since it is in the dead center of the University of Rhode Island, every visit is sort of like a trip to the circus. By this, I mean that Everybody has a great time, but theres apes, clowns, and rowdy characters. Buffalo Chicken Zone is superior to all others! Approximately $8 for everything. Open till 3 A.M.

I-Zone has the best calzones around! They put their only true competitors out of business a few years ago. A calzone will cost you 7.99, but it is delicious. Try the Honey Barbeque Chicken, you will not regret it.

In my opinion Rhode Island has some of the best Italian food around this place is not a great example of it. Take my advice, take the drive to Federal Hill. I'm not sure if they're owned by the same people but I'm not impressed by International anything, which is every other joint near campus! It was pretty dumpy.

This is a review of International Zone restaurant , not to be confused with International Pocket restaurant which is across the street. It's pretty confusing to me why two restaurants across the street from each other would have such similar names but then I get confused by a lot of things. It's actually located in a plaza next to the Uni of Rhode Island and is a tiny place. Sort of dumpy looking and the only reason we went here was because International Pocket was so crowded. Tons of URI students use this plaza. Boy was I surprised, the only thing they sell here are calzones and Stromboli and I was a little unsure of what a calzone was and had no idea what a stromboli is. They do have zillions of different ones with all types of ingredents including blueberries or strawberries. You can even pick combinations of your own items. So I got a egg plant and veggie calzone and my wife got a chicken something or other stromboli. Wow, were they good! The only different I could see between the calzone and stromboli was that the stromboli was rounder, like a giant burrito. Not really like a burrito but sort of. It was more burrito than a calzone anyways. Whatever, they were both absolutely fantastic. Not only tasty, but large enough to fill me up which is quite a accomplishment. The place is small, hotter than hell and sort of dumpy and the guy inside not exactly friendly. When I tried to ask him what the hell a stromboli was he just pointed to the sign listing the different kinds and then went in back. Not exactly helpful but that's fine. We went there because we were hungry and not for a conversation. So if you are looking for atmosphere and witty conversation go somewhere else. But If you want great food, as long as it's calzones and stromboli try this place. You probably will be pleasantly surprised.
