Hours: The Glass Station Studio and Gallery is the premier art gallery in New England dedicated to American Studio Glass. It exhibits fine art glass vessels and sculpture by nationally recognized and local artists. The gallery also features a wide variety of blown glass serving ware and gifts, and carries handcrafted fine and fashion jewelry. The attached studio is open weekly for introductory glassblowing classes. These classes are a wonderful, unique, and fantastic experience that many highly recommend. Participants find it a rewarding opportunity and a great investment of time. The instructors are warm, welcoming, engaging, generous, and extremely knowledgeable and talented. They offer clear instructions with a demonstration and provide one-on-one guidance and support. Students create gorgeous orbs and ornaments, resulting in a beautiful memory. The beautiful storefront is filled with absolutely amazing glass creations, and many customers are never disappointed. The staff is always friendly and helpful. It is a new "go to" place for gifts and gift certificates. The Glass Station is also the official home of The Glass Float Project, a participatory public art installation on Block Island.
