Wakefield Books is a welcoming and friendly locally owned bookstore inside the Wakefield Mall. It is a fantastic independent bookstore with a superb collection of books, gifts, and toys, featuring a wide variety of genres that cater to all interests and ages. The staff is an all-star cast of literature lovers, filled with smiles and knowledge. They are very helpful, provide fantastic recommendations, and can offer information on any book or place a special order for anything not in stock. The store provides a great shopping experience and a friendly atmosphere, with excellent staff picks, terrific bargains, and plenty of summer reading guides. They also host book signings with local authors. Wakefield Books is dedicated to the community, offering a 20% classroom discount to teachers and accepting school purchase orders. It is a pleasure to browse, busy and well-staffed, providing nothing like the experience of flipping through a book's pages.
Welcoming and friendly. They also make it very easy to order books they might not have in stock. I have ordered special orders in person, on the web site or by phone.
