The most amazing bank with the most friendly employees I have ever been to. As soon as you walk in to this beautifully maintained and clean bank, you are always greeted with a HUGE smile by one of the employees. Its great, they even remembered my fiancé and I. We are always directed to the right person, and when they are booked up, we even receive a call to schedule an appointment. They are truly wonderful at this bank and treat you like family!

The staff here is remarkably friendly and helpful. We have had the same bank account at Chase (via a series of predecessors) since 1973. We also bank at a Chase in Florida. The Wakefield branch is a pleasure to visit.

Worst manager ever at this branch who should be out of a job for being racist, sexist, homophobic, and catering only to the white man. There are some good people who work at this branch just trying to help, and their hands are tied because of a money-hungry, power-hungry, white man.

Have a new branch they built in Middletown, been ready for the last 6 months, still closed. The ATM in Newport is out of order for the last month. Have to go off island 15 miles to bank with them. Use Bank Newport and do yourself a favor.

After getting nothing but the run around from local small banks in regards to small business checking and loans, as well as many messages and phone calls and emails not returned by local banks, I decided to try Chase. They were completely transparent in what they could help me with and gave me more information and help than any of the local banks. I'm so happy with them and highly suggest them for small businesses.

I opened an account at Chase. A month after depositing the check and the check had cleared, I went into the bank to deposit another check. I was told my account was 'pending closing'. Imagine my surprise! I went to sit with one of the people in the booth. They called the main line of Chase. On the phone call I was told that it was closed because they needed 'verbal confirmation' it was me. I said 'It's me. I am sitting here with one of your coworkers and he has verified all my ID.' The woman on the phone said that was NOT enough! So they closed the account. Without my knowledge, they shut the account and mailed me a check. I was not home so the check sat in front on my apartment door until I got home. So blessed that no one stole the check sitting in front of my apartment door. Went to Bank of America and Phillip treated with respect. Do not let this bank Chase you. I am looking into reporting them.

This is the last thing we need in RI, another big corporate bank that doesn't care about its customers. Do yourself and the state a favor and use one of the many wonderful local banks!
